Okay, so it’s 101 degrees today, it’s been over 100 for two weeks now, the humidity is awful, and now Covid is rampant. They’ve run out of Topo Chico and everybody is on edge about the grid going down.

Let me assure you that this is not the only time police have been called to a house after a spouse has tried to get back in. It’s only in the newspaper because he’s the chief, but Honey, it’s happening all over.

There’s a whole bunch of pandemic-related psychological trauma that hasn’t been addressed or even acknowledged, and current circumstances aren’t helping. Cut each other some slack, y’all. Hoping you can stay cool, Ms JJ!

3We all need a change. I’m retired and have lost two years to the plague which limited my travel plans. I had wanted to travel the US in 2022, but the heat has kept me inside. It is depressing and infuriating.
