Must Read: How a Tiny Texas Company Drove The Big Lie

May 10, 2021 By: El Jefe Category: The Big Lie

A great piece yesterday in the Washington Post talks about how a snake oil salesman, Russell J. Ramsland Jr, from Addison, a suburb north of Dallas, pushed the Big Lie as early as 2018, trying to recruit politicians to his narrative that there was as much as 68% error rate in electronic voting systems.  He gained traction in 2020 with none other than Trump and his deplorable cronies, including Rudy, Sidney Powell, and others.  HE’S the one who pushed the unfounded Venezuelan story.  The story will leave you shaking your head.  It’s a good read, highly recommended.

I did read it and watched Christopher Krebs and one of the reporters from the WP discuss it. Trumpf and his inner circle were looking for a way to never have to concede the 2020 election and ramsland’s conspiracy/fantasy provided just what he needed even though it was dreamed up 2 years before the election. It eventually led to the January 6 insurrection and it’s become the cornerstone of the repugnantican party. It will stay that way as long as the big orange buffoon says so.

wth? Error rate of 68% – if that was possible, Karl Rove would not have been gobsmacked in 2012 with Romney’s loss. He looked like he was doing a Porky Pig impersonation ” … b.b.bu. … bbbbbut the fix was in …”

NV uses the Dominion machines. We’re quite happy, especially with the double redundancy and paper trail. Albeit I was not happy with the speed geared for slow readers and with my least favorite question with each request for next page. “Are you sure?” No, for the sweet love of puppies feet, I always push “next” when …

Voted by mail 2020 so didn’t get to test the machines with a little back/next salvo to rip that “are you sure” out of its miserable circuitry.

One other comment about the current state of the repugnantican party since they’ve embraced the big lie as their foundation- houses built on sand eventually collapse into the sea. It may take a while but the repugnantican party is built on sand. Unfortunately we may pay the price till they are washed away because their foundation is based on lies.
And trumpf and family are indicted and face the consequences.

Plus the reason Lies work so well is because people want to believe those lies.

As a textbook Malignant Narcissist, Trump only believes things that make himself look good. And since Trump is a no good, dirty rotten scoundrel, the only thing that makes him look good are lies. Soooo Trump only believes lies, which he loves repeating!
That’s why Trump lies so much, it’s the only thing that makes believe he looks good.
