Welcome to The World's Most Dangerous Beauty Salon, Inc.
My name is Susan DuQuesnay Bankston. I live in Richmond, Texas, in the heart of Tom DeLay's old district. It's nuttier than squirrel poop here.
I am honored and privileged to know Miss Juanita Jean Herownself, hairdresser extraordinary and political maven. Since she does not have time to fiddle with this internet stuff, I type her website for her and you can read it if you want to. If you don't, she truly does not give a big bear's butt.
A lot of what I post here has to do with local politics, but you probably have the same folks in your local government.
This ain't a blog. Blogs are way too trendy for me. This is a professional political organization.
Cheeto has put much emphasis on telling the public: “Yeah, go ahead and read the silly thing. I want people to read it.” Its almost as if he has some assurance that there will be redactions made.
Under federal regulations, Mueller’s report to Barr is “confidential,” but Barr will have discretion to make all or parts of it public. In a rare show of bipartisanship concerning the special counsel investigation, the House of Representatives voted 420–0 on March 14 to urge Barr to make Mueller’s report public. It was a resolution, which isn’t binding on the Justice Department but reflects the intense public pressure on Barr.

1Apparently no more indictments directly from the special council’s office
2Which will come first, the leaks or the tweets? Since the snocilbupeR are the sieve of indiscretion, expecting Nunes level spinning with the leaks. It’s a foregone conclusion that little Twittler Paws will be screaming “no collusion” along with as many lies as he can pack into a tweet. However, the rage-o-meter needle pegging will be the best early indicator of how implicated Individual 1 is in the report.
Bets on the number of “unindicted co-conspirators” mentioned in the report?
3Trump can call this report a “silly thing.”
But in eight years of the Obama administration, exactly one official in the executive branch was convicted, and he was a Republican: General David Petraeus.
In just two years of the Trump administration, Mueller’s investigation has filed 34 criminal indictments, and won 8 convictions (including guilty pleas).
I don’t call that silly. I call that exposing a criminal ring, with Trump making the appointments and pulling the strings.
Mueller has already accomplished great things for his country.
4@Jane & PKM 3. Barr’s cryptic last paragraph in his letter seemed to give weight to his control over how it shakes out. The investigations will continue as will NY state. bicameral film at eleven.
5Here’s hoping this won’t be a FitzMas redux…
6There damned well be some solid grounds for a spectrum of criminal actions coming out of this.
More FYI from the link below – I have listed only the header points.
Please open the link for the complete article.
1. The White House does not appear to have gotten a version of the report before Mueller sent it to Barr.
2. Barr never declined a request by Mueller.
3. Barr may be prepared to use his considerable authority to keep parts of the report secret.
4. Mueller and a small group of his team will remain in the Justice Department for now, according to BuzzFeed reporter Zoe Tillman.
5. Unresolved aspects of the investigation may continue on in other parts of the Justice Department.
UPDATE: 6. The Justice Department says there are no more sealed indictments to come from Mueller’s probe.

7megasoid –
My take on Trump saying we should read it, all of it – – is that he’s tried to stop the report, or divert the report, and he’s finally realized he can’t stop it so now he’s pretending he’s for transparency.
Has been, all the time. Since way back when.
8Spin cycle in the Maytag still leaves damp clothes. Until you preferably, hang them out to dry.
9The white wash is almost done all that is left is the final spin cycle in the ag’s office.

“Now this is not the end.
11It is not even the beginning of the end.
But it is, perhaps,
the end of the beginning.”
— Winston Churchill, famous Nazi antagonist
OK, so there is no evidence that Trump actively participated in the skewing of the election, and he will make a grand pompous noise about that. Tttttthhhhats all folks. Trump might think he is out of the woods on this one thing, but other investigations are still out there, and hoo-boy, NYSD is just getting started.
12Linda Phipps: neither you nor I have read the report. It may have pages and pages of evidence that Trump colluded with Russian agents to skew the election, and Mueller is turning that over to the Attorney General for his decision on how to proceed. Or it may not. At this point, we don’t know what the report says.

This is a good read on what is going on. Barbara McQuade is a former prosecutor and appears regularly on MSNBC.
14I’m holding back to see what the report actually contains. It seems Republicans are dancing in glee, but they best be careful because when the music actually stops they may find themselves in an awkward position.
15I’m thinking that the whole damn thing will be leaked to the public. I’m smiling as I say this!
16Institutionists are willing to sacrifice anything to “preserve” the institution. The thuglican know this and use them as allies whether they want to be or not.
17After the thugs ignore standards, principles, mores, practices and rules they pass let the institutionalizts defend the shreds of what the thugs leave behind as an excuse as to why the thugs canNot be held to account.
So it is with mueller. Protect the customs that ensconce rich white guys in power and never hold other rich white guys to account no matter the crime.
Frost did it, the Meese special counsel did it and now meullar has done it.
Special councils offices where justice goes to die.
I think it will show Trump is not capable of sufficient forethought to plan collusion. He has been asking the public to read because he can’t.
18To be honest never fully expected the Mueller Report would deliver what I wanted: Donnie’s head on a pike. However, while Bill Barr was successful in shepherding the Iran-Contra pardons, this is different. Barr is in a position to slit his own throat with obstruction of justice charges. Remembering Michael “I’ll take a bullet” Cohen and where he sits now, don’t expect Barr to volunteer to take the first bullet.
Meh. To whatever Barr and/or Donnie want as to the dispersal of this report. There’s a Democratic House now with subpoena powers and other avenues available. Currently no reason to kick (yet) articles of impeachment over to Old Scratch McConnell. That does not alter the fact that Democrats can refer specific crimes to various bodies of LE for prosecution. And, there is New York state able to corral the IQ45 Crime Organization.
