My name is Susan DuQuesnay Bankston. I live in Richmond, Texas, in the heart of Tom DeLay's old district. It's nuttier than squirrel poop here.
I am honored and privileged to know Miss Juanita Jean Herownself, hairdresser extraordinary and political maven. Since she does not have time to fiddle with this internet stuff, I type her website for her and you can read it if you want to. If you don't, she truly does not give a big bear's butt.
A lot of what I post here has to do with local politics, but you probably have the same folks in your local government.
This ain't a blog. Blogs are way too trendy for me. This is a professional political organization.
I just can’t stand it.
Finally our children are standing up for their rights, including freedom from fear.
And then the slimeballs that have dragged our country down into the mire of fear and gun violence started their work.
I am disgusted, but not surprised that ammosexuals will stoop to *any* depth to drag us lower. I just can’t stand to watch for a while.
Let’s pray for the children…
1Barack, as usual, exudes class and warmth.
So sad that 17 more people had to die before this movement took route.
2Nice to hear for The President. Did anyone hear the speech by NRA, it was everyone’s fault for the murders in Florida except the NRA! The NRA wants are schools to be armed camps, it was frightening to listen to him!
3I always become sad now whenever Obama speaks. How low we have now sunk – and so fast. From Obama to Trump. Idiocracy showed a much longer timeline for that to happen.
4Seeing/hearing Obama makes me sad. See how the mighty US has fallen.
5I miss having a grown-up in the White House.
I think the next step in their plan to dismantle public education, which began with Ronnie Raygun’s administration, is to put so many guns in schools that all us ‘lee-brools’ pull our kids out to homeschool them and they’ll be able to dumb down and de-factualize the curriculum for the remaining few kids completely.

7Maymoon, didn’t hear the NRA, but an acquaintance on facebook was singing LaPierre’s praises today and calling for more “armed good guys.” Her post was on a group site and the manager apparently took it down, for which I am grateful. Yes, a “she,” and yes, an old white “she.” What a maroon.
8djw, I learned just a couple days ago that my 56 year old cousin in Missouri is a “trump fan”, she said. So disappointing. She’s not stupid or cruel. She is a mother and grandmother. She is opposed to banning assault type weapons. She made an argument. I refuted it with facts. She tried a different argument, same result. After the 4th or 5th one she said let’s just agree to disagree. She had no info, just bullshit she’d heard. Makes me sad.
