Ambassador Bill Taylor says that $400 million in security aid to Ukraine and a one-on-one meeting between Trump and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky were conditioned on Ukraine announcing investigations into the 2016 election the company that hired Hunter Biden.
Trump didn’t want an investigation. He just wanted it announced that an investigation was ongoing. You know, kinda of like his investigators in Hawaii who were close to proving that Barack Obama wasn’t born there.
The Biden deal is just another shiny thing Trump uses for bait to distract the attention away from him. It’s the law of media thermodynamics: if the heat is on someone else, it’s not on you.
