Welcome to The World's Most Dangerous Beauty Salon, Inc.
My name is Susan DuQuesnay Bankston. I live in Richmond, Texas, in the heart of Tom DeLay's old district. It's nuttier than squirrel poop here.
I am honored and privileged to know Miss Juanita Jean Herownself, hairdresser extraordinary and political maven. Since she does not have time to fiddle with this internet stuff, I type her website for her and you can read it if you want to. If you don't, she truly does not give a big bear's butt.
A lot of what I post here has to do with local politics, but you probably have the same folks in your local government.
This ain't a blog. Blogs are way too trendy for me. This is a professional political organization.
Already voted, last week, Ohio early voting, yay!
1Iowa could go blue, well, at least purple today. (we still have the corpse of Chuck Grassley as a Senator)
2I’ll be thinking about all y’all who have helped me keep my sanity through these 4 horrible years.
C’mon Texas!
Three cheers for all those folks waiting in long lines to vote today because they had no other alternative. Tonight it will be all over except for the counting and the shouting. Correction. Most of us will be shouting. Guess what that whiny sound that Covidiot 45 makes is closer to mewling.
It can’t be expected that Orange Foolius will make a concession speech, much less a gracious one. If only we could spare him that pain in exchange for allowing Biden/Harris to take over the pandemic response as of midnight tonight. Yeah. While the beggars are riding the horses might as well hope Donnie goes to the bunker for his last breath, too.
3This election day is a big deal for my family. It will be the first time my grand-daughter and oldest grand-son will vote for a President. Grand-son did a mail in. Grand-daughter is going to the polls in Alabama. I feel sorry for any fool who even tries to get in her face at the polls. She is a championship fencer and soccer player and does quite well in karate. In other words, a 21st Centiry woman!
4I voted last Thursday in Maryland, and my husband got word that his mail-in ballot had been received and counted long before that; so we’ve done what we could. Go, Joe!
