Welcome to The World's Most Dangerous Beauty Salon, Inc.
My name is Susan DuQuesnay Bankston. I live in Richmond, Texas, in the heart of Tom DeLay's old district. It's nuttier than squirrel poop here.
I am honored and privileged to know Miss Juanita Jean Herownself, hairdresser extraordinary and political maven. Since she does not have time to fiddle with this internet stuff, I type her website for her and you can read it if you want to. If you don't, she truly does not give a big bear's butt.
A lot of what I post here has to do with local politics, but you probably have the same folks in your local government.
This ain't a blog. Blogs are way too trendy for me. This is a professional political organization.
Yes, it does sound like Tom Bodette, and I could see him doing it. He’s an Alaskan and has lived around natives for years. I can’t imagine him keeping quiet about this.
1Idiots. Successful motels operate on occupancy rate and revenue. Nothing says “come on back ya’ll” like being dragged out of your room in cuffs. Maroons …
2Geuss that means their hotel staff will be leaving as well, eh?
3Wonder if they turn over the names of guests who use the rooms by the hour. Or are they getting a kickback from that business, too?

If you want to know what Tom Bodette has to say about this you might want to look at his Twitter: https://twitter.com/TomBodett/status/908508430855438336
Now I wonder if the topic will come up next time he is on Wait Wait Don’t Tell Me.
5I cannot for the life of me see the connection between Stupid Louie and a Faux idiot, which is what came up on my screen.
6>??
What does it say about corporate that they claim no knowledge of Ice Raids and “Tactical” Police arrests in their franchises? This is not credible.
7there has to be a backside tooth’s story! Businesses, good or bad, can’t exist with publicity like this! Seriously, does somebody at the local 6 have a family member or a dear friend working with ICE who has to make a monthly quota? Damn, this is stoopid!
8We were just in Phoenix last week (not a Motel 6) and I discovered one thing. I always thought Texas drivers were bad, but I must apologize. Arizona drivers win the lifetime achievement award for bad driving. Out there traffic signs are meer suggestions.
9Paul, stay down! ROFL Houston, TX where the crossing lights should read “run and run for your life.” Then for real excitement there are the Cali freeways. Seems to be a southwestern pandemic. Maybe if LE wasn’t so busy harassing POC, they could spend a little time focusing on bad drivers. Here in NV, I dream of the restoration of 3 freeway lanes, where those morons in the left lane are not cited for impeding traffic while doing 45mph in a 65 zone.
10I just read today that Stephen King, Maine’s favorite horror writer, likes to travel simply and by car, often staying at Motel 6. He’s known to abhor Orange Whore and all that he mostly stands for, so I’m betting Mr. King has moved up a couple notches to Super 8.
