More on Bannon Indictment
You can read the US Attorney’s announcement here. Bannon, et al were indicted for defrauding tens of thousands of donors to a crowd funded scam of “We Build the Wall” that collected $25 million. Bannon and his partners are accused of funneling over $1.5 million to themselves through fake invoices and dummy non-profits. Bannon himself took $1 million. The DOJ has got them dead to rights. Maybe they’ll try to get Bannon to flip on Trump for some unrelated charge, but as JJ said, expect pardons for these thieves.
Expect to hear that Trump didn’t really know the guy! Thats his usual “go to” in these instances!
1If or when this goes to trial Trump can “wish him well”. However, the pardon will come before that becomes necessary.

5The Metropolitan Correctional Center in New York is an abysmal modern take on dungeons, with contaminated water, rats (four legged) biting prisoners during the night, cockroaches in the food, uncontrolled temperatures summer and winter, and guards that range from negligent to brutal. It’s where Epstein got suicided, and the feds put people they want to pressure into plea bargains or just squeeze for info.
It’s a place that should not exist in a modern democracy. But we should not have children in cages and women being sexually assaulted by rent-a-cops from private prison companies, all of which Bannon felt was just fine and dandy.
Since this indictment was from the SDNY FBI office, that’s likely where Bannon would end up. Let’s hope there’s lots of delays in him getting bail.

8Whether or not he can legally pardon manafort before the trial, f**king trump will try if he sees an advantage.
And right about now the Lincoln Project folks are drooling and already writing the ads in case he even floats the idea. Every UnAmerican, treasonous, assholish thing trump and his regime have done is justified by the propagandists as doing whatever it takes to MAGA. Strength. Not afraid to offend the snowflakes. But manafort’s crew betrayed the sheep who support them and trump. If trump can restrain himself, he can stay distanced. But I don’t think he’s capable of it.
Drooling. I can imagine the Lincoln Project has a policy that kicks in on days like today that mandates their operatives pair up in the buddy system. To protect each other’s shirts.

9Please excuse my dumbassery. I said manafort instead of bannon. I blame El Jefe. He should have been more clear about it by naming the culprit in the lead. Or the headline even……. wait.:)
10A very un-Christian thing to say, but I can’t claim to feel terribly sorry for the suckers who bit this thing. You KNOW they were celebrating every time some toddler was ripped from his/her mother’s arms.
