More Lies
You know, what bothers me about Trump is that he will lie about anything, even the little tiny things. Remember when he told us a few days ago that he has the small arena at NRG for his rally with Ted that seats 8,000 because there weren’t any other venues available? Well, come to find out, he lied.
UPDATE:
Due to an overwhelming response, the venue has changed to TOYOTA CENTER.
The Toyota Center is where the Rockets play and it holds 18,000 – still nowhere near the 55,000 at Willie and Beto’s event.
Minute Maid Park (where the Astros play) holds 41,000. Plus, it’s at 6:30 so downtown is gonna be a mess.
FWIW: Both the Astros and the Red Sox played a great game last night.
Too bad the Astros have fans that don’t know the rules…

The Machiavellian White House staff is smart enough to have pre-planned this venue upgrade…just for the awesome PR value it appears to give to how ‘popular’ RAT45 seems. You know how Limpballs and FuxNooz will spin this bullshit into MAGAot cotton candy. (even though many TX HS football games draw more than 18K)
Probably too late, but Beto should have jumped on arranging a simultaneous nearby event in a much bigger venue, maybe with somebody like Willie or Bruce S. along, or nobody else. Beto would likely have an overflow crowd anyhow with or without a celebrity.

It’s an open seat formerly held by Lamar Smith (noted scientific brainiac…) in the area of north SA to west of Austin, more or less, pretty red territory.

Joseph Kopser is the Democrat, whackjob Chip Roy the Rethug, with Liber Debbie Santos.
Kopser nailed all the questions, Roy did the usual Rethug pandering, CruzTrumpette buttkissing, and dissembling. Santos was all over, made some good points (I always bite for some Libertarian junk food, but they’re all whackjobs when you dig in), but not ready for prime time.

12Speaking of calling out nut jobs, there’s McConnell actually talking about cutting back on our benefits that we worked and slaved for such as Social Security, Medicare and any health plan that resembles Obamacare. Yeah. I know he can talk, just like all the talking in recent years about killing Obamacare and replacing it with something else, which never happened because they wouldn’t know a plan if it bit them where it hurts. I am wearing out my kneebones praying that the Dems take the House, where all the appropriations happen. I would actually swoon if they were able to take the Senate by even one seat.
13I really doubt there are a limited number of tickets because you KNOW those of us with brains have thought of signing up for tickets with the intention of not showing up. Those who do show may not be admitted – they will have just stood in line for nothing IF the limit of seats is reached. I gleaned this little tidbit from a FB page where people were suggesting just what we want to do to make the orange slug look badly. I can guarantee there will be a full house with many left standing outside – with their little ticket in hand. This creature isn’t going to let an empty house happen.
