It used to be in Mississippi that people with Covid, but mild symptoms, would go and purposefully blow on your grandmother. They are like that in Mississippi – perpetually 7 years old and mean as hell. It got so bad that Mississippi State Health Officer Thomas Dobbs issued an edict saying that once people found out they had Covid, they are required to isolated for 10 days or else.
The else?
None of these people have $5,000 so I’m going with the five years in prison.
It’s not going to take long until Thomas Dobbs is in the unemployment line.
Mr Dobbs may need 24 hour protection for taking the right action. This should be the policy everywhere. Kind of like prosecutions that happened when people knowingly passed on AIDS when they knew they were infected. No difference in my mind.
1I’m not sure what sort of mask policies are in effect in Mississippi now with school in session, but I would expect many kids with covid will be passing it around. The above policy should apply to parents that send their kids to school when they’re sick.

3I wish him luck enforcing that edict. Under the influence of Trump’s Republican takeover, far too many people in the Southern states, from the governors to the undereducated poor, have lost their minds. Ignoring all safety precautions in the midst of a pandemic to own the libs is a lousy survival strategy.
4Dr. Dobbs is appointed to his job by the governor here in MS. Perhaps he’s already found another job. Dobbs has been Fauciesque when dealing with the MS guv, Tate Reeves (a.k.a. tater tot), a wannabee and all-around kneebender for drumpf. It’s almost surreal the excuses drumpf’s “uneducated” here come up with to decline vaccination. Yet they’re taking animal strength Ivermectin as a COVID cure. But we in MS ARE NUMBER ONE per capita in COVID infections.
5Most of us (that frequent the beauty salon) logically think states would not want to be high on the list of covid infections, hospitalizations or deaths. We got it all wrong. The governors and repugnantican leaders in the states mentioned above think it’s a badge of honor. They think it’s proof that they’re protecting people’s freedoms. It’s proof of their stupidity.
