Maybe Big
Okay, I think this might be big but then again, I still think Trump bragging about where he grabs women is big, so you can’t trust me too much on deciding what’s big.
A classified intelligence report obtained by The Intercept reveals that Russian hackers may have more deeply penetrated U.S. voting systems during last year’s election than previously reported, including trying to hack elections officials.
The Intercept reported Monday about a “top-secret” National Security Agency document. The document — dated May 5 — details hacking efforts by Russian military intelligence that includes a cyberattack against at least one U.S. voting software supplier.
Uh oh. That would mean that they did, in fact, try to hack the actual vote.
CBS News is also confirming this.
I’ll keep an eye on it and update later.
Thanks to Deb for the heads up and all the links.
Ms. Juanita Jean Herownself, YOU we trust to update the reported facts. What I don’t trust are the media to track down fairly simple stories like why were the recounts in Wisconsin, Michigan and Pennsylvania halted. Anyone know why?
Meanwhile, should all 17+ intelligence agencies provide ample evidence of Donnie, his cabal and the Russians with their arms elbow deep in the proverbial cookie jar, does anyone really expect the snacilbupeR in Congress to react appropriately? Devin Nunes with his pants and hair on fire running across the White House lawn after midnight does not count.
1And CBS will be !ive-broadcasting Comet’s testimony on Thursday.
The hits must keep coming.
2Time to go back to pen and paper. Yeah, you can hack that too, but it is ever so much more difficult to stuff 10,000 pieces of fraudulent paper into a ballot box than it is to change a 0 to a 1 in a line of code for 10,000 electronic votes.

Barely an hour after a news organization published an article about a Top Secret National Security Agency document on Russian hacking, the Justice Department announced charges against a 25-year-old government contractor who a senior federal official says was the leaker of the document.
4Chloe Bear, Donnie thinks an arrest of a leaker is a “win.” However, what it does is validate the existence of the document.
Whatcha got to say about that, Donnie?
5My fear is the same as what ended up happening in the campaign. There is so much stuff (insert favorite stronger word here) happening that it just becomes noise. It might be better to focus on one crime and really hit it hard then to cast a wider net and have good circumstantial evidence of 100 crimes. Sure, the 100 crimes demonstrates he’s a first class (insert favorite strong word here) but it might not be enough to get him out of office.
6Wowza! Just heard that the leaker is a young Christian woman who felt it was her Gospel duty to do what she did. Or at least that is what her mother claims.
Doncha just love it!
Sigh. This is where I go back to bed.
7And some of that document was redacted, according to
8The Intercept, so there’s more. It had to more than the hacked emails to sway that election. The voting software was corrupted and I’ll bet the Rethugs knew about it. God bless that young woman for risking her future to get us the truth.
The lady’s name is “Reality” y’all! Truth and Vera may be on deck, and they’ll probably get thrown in the clink too!
9My first thought is to go back to paper ballots – think how many jobs created that way?!!! Seriously, whatever computer holds the voting records should be offline from now on!!
10Writing from under the covers. Safer that way. Read the redacted transcript. I think that the Intercepter asking what was too sensitive to print showed that they really cared about our Country. Very little was redacted but Ryan Grim who read the entire report checked with the intelligence agency prior to release.
11That said, retreating under the covers. Will emerge later for testimony. Until then ………
