Welcome to The World's Most Dangerous Beauty Salon, Inc.
My name is Susan DuQuesnay Bankston. I live in Richmond, Texas, in the heart of Tom DeLay's old district. It's nuttier than squirrel poop here.
I am honored and privileged to know Miss Juanita Jean Herownself, hairdresser extraordinary and political maven. Since she does not have time to fiddle with this internet stuff, I type her website for her and you can read it if you want to. If you don't, she truly does not give a big bear's butt.
A lot of what I post here has to do with local politics, but you probably have the same folks in your local government.
This ain't a blog. Blogs are way too trendy for me. This is a professional political organization.
Merry Christmas to all!
1Merry Christmas to all and looking forward to a much better New Year!
2Ho! Ho! Ho! and a Bah! Humbug! to all! There. That should cover the gamut
3Happy Hogswatch to one and all!
4Is it OK to say Happy Everything?
5Thank you for making our (hopefully of a type never to be seen again) year more enjoyable. Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to all of you at the beauty salon.
6Season’s Greetings everybody.
7Merry Christmas to Juanita Jean and the staff and customers of the World’s Most Dangerous Beauty Salon! I am so glad I met you all and thank you so much for keeping my spirits up in this crazy year!
8Merry Christmas to everyone! Here’s to spending more time in 2021 with those we love.
9Thank you for making your Salon available to us everyday. Looking forward to much good news ahead for all of us in the coming year.
10Merry Christmas to all!
Merry Christmas, and may this one be the only one of it’s ilk you ever experience.
Though I’m keeping the Zoom family get togethers…
11Splendiferous Solstice!!!
Look for more light!
12Happy Holidays to all of JJ’s Salon denizens.
2020 has been a b.b…bear, but things are looking up.
A most intelligent and decent President and Vice President will be guiding us forward in 2021 and on.
Most everything will get better starting in 26 days, optimism and progress are returning. Pessimism, pestilence, and plunder are fading, as Putin’s puppet passes into infamy.
13The most vile WorstPrezEver gangster and his Crime Family are slinking away, losers forever, fearing an overdue reckoning [with luck, soon vacationing in the Graybar Inn]. Moscow Mitch may become the Minority dude.
The nightmare is ending, except for those 70 million MAGAots lurking around…
Merry Christmas to all those who are celebrating, and Merry Friday to those who are doing something else. May next year be better to us all.
14Ormond Otvos @12,
My Suunto watches and the websites below give me 10 seconds more daylight today, since the Solstice of 21Dec [gaining 1min by 17Jan].
I’ll take every second, need to get closer to the Equator, even 28N is too cold and dark for me anymore.
And here in STX, almost every day for months has been nearly 100% sunshine, 65′ today, 72’+to 77′ for the next week.

[yeah, I’m an old navigator]
15What a masterpiece of saloning! Blessings on your reindeer!
16Brilliant “do” on Santa, JJ! Greatest comb-out ever !!
17Mele Kalikimaka everyone!
18And the same to you, ma’am! Happy holidays and a happy and healthy new year to all the other salon denizens! Stay safe and well, everybody!
19Now that it’s the day after, and we went through hours of zoom time, I can only be grateful for what we’ve got: My brother who’s home from the hospital with COVID, my kids are doing well, and we’ve got heat, power, and too much good food.
Everyone, take your vitamin D, mask up, and keep social distancing. This winter of our pandemic is long from over….
