  1. Thanks John and Juanita. I noticed Cruz’s stocking is somewhat deformed as is Mr Cruz’s sense of morality.

  2. So now we know why Ted Cruz went to Mandela’s funeral: So that he could walk out on Raul Castro.

  3. Coal is too good for them.

  4. Sockful of cockroaches.

  5. Lorraine in Spring says:

Coal? Shouldn’t it be solar panels just to tick them off?

  6. That is just not enough coal, although it is a good start.

  7. The Junior Senator from Texas went to a State Funeral, so he could (a) humiliate himself ….. and (b) embarrass his office, and (c) embarrass our country.

He should have to refund to the taxpayers, whatever this trip cost .

  8. Polite Kool Marxist says:

Cruz and the other embarrassing politicians should be on the Homeland Security “no fly list.” Keep them home, before they create an international incident. A memorial service is not the time or place for a political statement of that rude nature. Ted has all the smooth moves of the Westboro Baptist Church.

  9. This cr****y behavior — at a funeral, yet! — just so tore it for me in the worst way. I thought he was worthless DNA a long time ago. Now I’m going all out and state that he, too, like Bachman, sleeps in a coffin.

  10. e platypus onion says:

Add lamarr Alexander’s chief of staff. His home got raided by authorities on suspicion of child porn. OOPS!

  11. Love that graphic, but to be complete there should be a wide angle shot of all the congressional Repugs’ coal-stuffed stockings.
    That would be some mantelpiece!

  12. I think some good ripe organic fertilizer would be a better choice of stocking-stuffer.

As I said on the other thread, Cruz walked out for one reason: more camera time.

  13. There is a rumor going around in my neighborhood that the GOP’s budget “deal” was their way of putting a muzzle on Cruz. I don’t think so. He will simply gin up something else to spew about. And that “deal” was anything but for this country. They cut 1.3 million unemployed people – their situation not being a product of their own – cuz them 1.3 million cost $25 Billion to support with unemployment benefits. Well, of course, the $25 Billion is no longer alive. The GOP took it down when they deliberately shut down the government at a cost of — oh, guess what — $25 billion. In other words they extorted the umemployment benefits of people already up against a wall. And for a whole lot of them, they are lucky to even have a wall. As of December 28th they probably won’t have a roof to go with the wall. These flat out pirates have to be guilty of a law already on the books that maybe hasn’t been used for decades. Just hope someone finds that law as of yesterday. Hey, after all, Christmas is coming.
