Madison Cawthorn Is a Bad Penny

April 27, 2022 By: Juanita Jean Herownself Category: Uncategorized

Madison Cawthorn shows up everywhere, armed dammit.

He got caught at an airport toting a gun. Again.

Kinda makes you miss Louie Gohmert, right?  Face it, Madison is just Louie with a gun.

He must be on a TSA watch list by now. Home-schooled Hitler doesn’t learn.

I do believe that I have uncovered a cure for TERMINAL STOOPID. It has something to do with constitutional carry.

  3. The jerk is doing this because he can get away with it and get his name in the paper. It’s a misdemeanor and the law prevents a ‘legislator’ from being charged if he’s on his way to vote. I wonder if TSA is confiscating these weapons. That might become a disincentive. Although his base would most likely buy him another as long as he ‘owns the libs’.

Perhaps he forgot it because of other things on his mind?

In another Episode of “Honey, do you know where I left my gun?”, “Good Guy with Gun” forgets where he left his gun.

How is he going to stop a “Bad Guy with a gun”, if he doesn’t know where his gun is?

  6. Cawthorne is one of those ‘nother brick in the wall’ types the GOP seems to love after TFG came on the scene. The more venal, racist, crude, hypocritical and malicious— the better.

Lie about how your best friend tried to kill you by leaving you in a wrecked car. Lie about how you were admitted to a military academy. Be a predator to the point half of your college writes a letter warning people. The only job he had was at the christian chicken fast food place before he became a congressman. Numerous traffic stops for blowing through speed limits with no licence in a car registered to his daddy. Trying to carry guns onto planes . . . .

And the only thing that sticks and makes his fellow loons freak out. . . him blabbing about drugs and orgies in the GOP. Frankly
more power to them. Any activity that keeps them out of the halls of congress is okay by me.

  7. No wonder Louie is quitting, he’s just naturally stupid. He ain’t got a prayer competing against a Green, Cawthorne, or that ilk. Ya lay down with hogs in a sty, ya always stink to high heavens.

  8. Jane & PKM says:

Jace @7 has the winning scorecard of the day.

Mad Caw is pushing the limits of Article 1, Section 6, Clause 1 which in essence states that members of Congress cannot be detained when traveling to and from Dee Cee, except for cases of treason, felony and breach of peace.

Not so funny fact. It’s a matter for SCROTUS to determine in this particular instance that MAD Caw while exerting this particular circumstance is at the same time in violation of other constitutional provision such as the rights of the airline and its passengers to be free of this idgit.

  9. Maybe Mattie thinks women won’t look at him, if he doesn’t have a gun in his pocket. MTG and Boobert just might look at him.

  10. Wyatt_Earl says:

HE’S DOING IT N PURPOSE!!!! His base loves that he carries a gun and flaunts authority.

    10
  11. Grandma Ada says:

Seems he’s caught the forgetfulness germ from MTG and doesn’t remember guns and airports/planes don’t mix.

  12. Steve from Beaverton says:

Of course he’s doing it for the free publicity, as was mentioned above. Bet more repugnantican congress critters will try it for more free stuff (publicity) and campaign dough.

    12
  13. The Surly Professor says:

Although a deep, abiding, and profound ignorance of the US Constitution seems to be a requirement for Republicans nowadays, it’s possible that someone told him about Section 6 of Article 1:

“They shall in all Cases, except Treason, Felony and Breach of the Peace, be privileged from Arrest during their Attendance at the Session of their respective Houses, and in going to and returning from the same; and for any Speech or Debate in either House, they shall not be questioned in any other Place.”

So it’s possible he is not only doing it for the publicity, but because someone told him he can’t be arrested for it.

But way beyond that, it was a loaded gun. When I had to transport any gun (decades ago), it was not only unloaded but actually disassembled with the parts kept in two separate places. Wanna bet that he also had the saftey off?

    13
  14. Steve from Beaverton says:

Maybe one of these days he’ll sneeze when pulling his gun out of his pants loaded with the safety off. We can only hope. Oops, that’ll get him free publicity.
