Louie, Louie

He’s baaaaaack.

After losing his tongue for a while, Louie Gohmert is back with Nazis on his mind.

Rep. Louie Gohmert (R-Texas) said on the House floor Friday that liberals who call anti-gay-marriage Christians “haters” are subjecting them to persecution similar to how Nazis treated Jews during the Holocaust.

“It is amazing that in the name of liberality, in the name of being tolerant, this fascist intolerance has arisen,” Gohmert began.

Louie, have we called the lions yet?  No, we have not.  Calm your butt down, child.

Pointing out your intolerance is not intolerant.  Ignoring it, however, is chickenpoop.

OK, all kidding aside, I really do need an app like this. idork. I really do need this, because I just don’t know what these people are talking about. Really.

So Gohmert says the Persecutors of gay people, those who would deny gay Americans their constitutional rights to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness, are being persecuted because they have been criticized for it.
He obviously refuses to see the obvious inequity: denial of rights vs. criticism.
Last time I checked, the first was illegal and the latter a right guaranteed by the 1st Amendment. Let’s have a pity party for those poor, persecuted Persecutors.

Loopy Louie, your catfish logic doesn’t fly, but you deserve to be slapped with it. You’ll just have to suck it up, buttercup. Haters like you need to ride your own heat or STFU, because the rest of us will aim all the scorn we want at your pointy hating head. As maryelle says, the 1st Amendment gives us that right, and I for one intend to use it.

Since you don’t speak our language, we’ll teach you ours. Your vocabulary lesson and word of the week is equality, Loopy Louie. Look it up, use it in three sentences, then move on to the next exercise which will be to locate all references to equality used by the founding fathers.

Use that law degree of yours and locate all United States Supreme Court decisions affirming equality. Complete your homework, and we’ll consider giving back your tongue.

  5. Could someone please strap Louie down and make him watch Shoah or some other good documentary on the Holocaust so he might just possibly get a clue about the gross ignorance and offensiveness of what he keeps saying? I’m getting really tired of seeing his knee jerk. Amazing how we can still hear him, considering where his head is.

Rhea, we could shove a copy of Schindler’s List to the location of Loopy Louie’s head, but it would only cause a traffic jam and not the desired education. Rather than wasting good documentaries and movies on Loopy Louie, perhaps we could find a fix for Louie’s problems at Gaps & Cracks.

  7. Yeah, ’cause calling haters “haters” is just like Kristallnacht.

Is there an Android version of that app, and if so, where do I find it?

  12. I am tired of being called a fascist by a real fascist. Louie apparently wouldn’t recognize a good socialist (one of us ultra-liberal types) if he saw one, because his brain is infested with meaningless labels and the inability to utilize the power of rational thought any longer. As one of his constituents, I am beyond being tired of his b.s.
