Local Republicans Again
Our local Republican Party is meeting tonight. Only Executive Committee (elected precinct chairs) members are invited. The announcement says, “no spouses, no campaign managers, no media.” I guess trust is running mighty thin in the Fort Bend County GOP.
The meeting is probably illegal since the party is quasi-governmental body and they take state funds to hold their primaries. But, hell if I’m gonna read Texas law to them until after they do it.
A bunch of white people holding a secret meeting in a closed room. What could possibly go wrong?
They just don’t get it! I guess it’s true what they say, Democrats want to govern, Republicans want to Rule! Faugh!

6Could be that some of them have summer homes in Colorado or had a relative leave them a house in Iowa and suddenly the idea of registering to vote and to homestead in two places at once seems less attractive than it might have a week ago. Hehehe
7I wouldn’t get too excited, maybe one of them had a revaluation of Genesis, decided it was a parable, and the rest of them have to talk him/her out of it. The privacy is so the afflicted parties name isn’t besmirched by this evidence of thought.

Actually from all you’ve said about your local infestation of Republicans, they’r emore like Ren and Stimpy than Pinky and the Brain. Or they’re like the infestation of crickets across the state: made a lot of noise before, but now just a pile of rotting corruption that stinks to high heaven.
