Romney Invested in Medical-Waste Firm That Disposed of Aborted Fetuses, Government Documents Show
Come to find out, contrary to claims made by Mitt Romney himself, Romney hadn’t left Bain when it invested in Stericycle, a company with “a troubling safety record.”
Another SEC document filed November 30, 1999, by Stericycle also names Romney as an individual who holds “voting and dispositive power” with respect to the stock owned by Bain. If Romney had fully retired from the private equity firm he founded, why would he be the only Bain executive named as the person in control of this large amount of Stericycle stock?
Bain made $50 million off the investment. Romney did not invest in Stericycle to create jobs or grow the company. He invested in Stericycle to make more money. There’s nothing wrong with making money, but don’t say you’re creating jobs when you’re sucking profit.
Okay, here’s my question: where the hell is Joe Wilson to holler “You Lie!” when we really need him?

1Romney said that he likes to fire people who provide poor service. As a job creator, he sucks. Guess he needs to be fired (or just not hired in the first place).

3I HATE Romney, but……..
Having worked in doctor’s offices for 25 years, I am aware of our use of Stericycle. BUT they took our sharps, medical waste and things we were NOT allowed to just put in the trash. OSHA rules. So it’s NOT a bad company.
PLEASE do not fall into the RW trap of vilifying a whole company by what one FOOL does politically.
I’m a Dem, so I’m not the enemy.
4Judi, I am a tad concerned about Stericycle’s safety record at their plants, exposing their employees to hazardous conditions, but it’s not Stericycle I’m mad at.
I’m mad at Mitt Romney for being a hypocrite.
5I am sure that the leaders of the Pro-Life groups will quickly decide that being an accomplice after the fact is ok because those evil abortion doctors would otherwise use a dumpster and Stericycle was just preventing anyone from getting AIDS.
