Lemonade
A five year old little woman set up a lemonade stand at the house across the street from Westboro Baptist Church. Her daddy is helping her raise money for peace and children’s charities.
Reports say that members of the church were “visibly upset.”
Holy crap, she’s going to grow up to be me.
Visibly upsetting people is my entire goal in life and my greatest joy.
You go girl!
Supposedly they cursed at her – cause that’s what Jesus would do. The government should reclassify them as a hate group and take away there 501c(3) exemption! Seriously the IRS at this point might as well take another hit.
1@Sharon, I suspect that if the IRS did indeed follow your suggestion.rather than take another hit, … they probably would be applauded.
This little girl is my hero. She’s had a good raising.
I loved this story when this group first painted, and moved into the house across the street from that hateful faux baptist church. That they keep aggrevating the Westboro hate mongers, is frosting on the cake.
2I’m gonna dig up that wonderful young lady’s address & make a donation. I can’t resist helping to tick off the Westboro Baptist Hate Club.
3If she grows up to be you, JJ, she’ll be one terrific lady & we’ll all be proud to know her1

5Any sharp stick that gets poked in WBC’s nasty little eyes is good-oh in my book!! Go Jayden go! Jesus loves her better anyway 🙂
6I sent the young lady some money and told her since I can’t enjoy the lemonade myself to offer it to the Westboro folks.
7Keep disturbing the comfortable and comforting the disturbed!
8I tell you, the very fact that WBC has their nose out of joint at that child tells you how absolutely over the edge far gone in crazy and hate and envy they have gone.
9A friend has a button that says “Doing my best to p*** off the religious right.” And how wonderful to do it by doing good. Nobody deserves it more than these jackwagons. I hope they have apoplexy and explode (but indoors, to keep the mess off the street).
10It’s so satisfying to see goodness and light triumph over darkness and hate. Makes that lemonade twice as sweet.
11Jesus would drink the pink lemonade.
12Westboro Baptist drank the kool aid.
When I worked for a time in Topeka, I used to run into these bozos all the time picketing the Statehouse across the street from where I lived during the week (Alice, the world’s smartest pup and friend to all, would growl at Fred Phelps). Equal opportunity bigots like the Phelps family made for some weird coalitions in Kansas… Catholics, gays, veterans, funeral directors, Planned Parenthood… all found common ground in at least one thing… Westboro Baptist Church and their preaching was lunacy. The irony is that Fred Phelps had made a name for himself (and made himself rich) as a civil rights attorney … suing deep pocket corporations for charging too much interest on credit purchases to minority buyers … but in the long run, it was his crazy theology that did more to unite people and help us all see that bigotry is stupidity than anything else. Go figger.
13I had damp eyes when I first read the story about the little girl and saw her picture. She reminded me so much of my own daughter at the same age also selling lemonade! God bless you, Jayden!
14UPSET about WHAT!?
15Westboro Baptist Church Gives Christianity a bad name
16Those ‘people’ need help fast.
17What a wonderful daddy. Someting tells me you had a wonderful Fathers Day.
