Just When You Thought Steve Bannon Was Oh So 2017 …
The New York Times is announcing that Steve Bannon is back and has formed a new group to save Trump and Republicans in the mid term elections.
The group, Citizens of the American Republic, is Mr. Bannon’s new vehicle after he was pushed out of the White House last summer and then parted ways with the conservative website Breitbart.
Mr. Bannon declined to describe his donors or how much money the group has raised.
Well, let’s guess.
Russians? Probably. His former money bags was Rebekah Mercer but she says she has no role in this effort. The Kochs don’t like Bannon.
There’s one other possibility. The New York Post (I know, I know) reports that Bannon paid a visit to Jeffrey Epstein last week at 7 am. Bannon doesn’t strike me as the kind of guy who gets up at 7am unless there’s something for him in it.

1I saw bits of the video he has made to help his side win during the mid-term. Right up there with the film value of the stuff made for Hitler. Now all he has to do is to convince various media elements to carry his video. Well, how about between 3 AM and 4 AM on every other Thursday before the election?

I just read an article (and now can’t find it, but I swear it was real) saying that European rightists were rejecting Bannon’s Efforts to organize them, telling him to “go home”.
And then there’s the report that the father of one of the DC unite the right fiasco breaks in on an anti-Semitic podcast and yells, “Get out of my room”.

So rather then shut the senate down until, at the very least, he gets all the documents from kavanagues past espiacially his time in the twit’s white house before any confirmation hearings.
Instead he is faciliateing the r’s railroading of this ideologue by giving them agreements that nothing will be allowed to stop the train.
Then again considering schumers affection for the 1% he might prefer a “business apolagist” on the supreme court instead of some one who cares about those pesky workers.

10I don’t think Bannon left the White House without the blessing of Trump. His stint in the WH was a set up to give him credibility so he could work his magic.

Having just finished Michael Wolff’s book, Fire and Fury, I am astonished by Bannon’s arrogance. In the book, Wolff states that Bannon is planning to run for president. His visit to Epstein may not be to help Dump, but get money for his own campaign.

15Saw Bannon. He looked a lot better – clean shaven and combed, albeit jowly.
But I couldn’t really make much of the torrent of whatever he spewed, despite Ari’s attempts to direct the conversation. A 3-person panel dissected it after, which didn’t help much. Suffice it to say, I found none of it compelling or memorable.
16Weren’t there stories also about Epstein and Trump with young girls on a plane? The girl sued, claiming she was raped, but her Lawyer called it off about the time Trump took office. Was she threatened, paid off? Does Michael Cohen have tapes about that,too?
