The fine men who supported liberty over the federal government made a mess of the federal government’s building but that ain’t all.
In addition to costing Harney County $3.3 million (so far) in costs for services and overtime, leaving ditches full of feces and probably destroying rare artifacts, it turns out the Bundy Bunch also mooched over at the local senior center’s food bank.
No kidding, the Bundy Bunch raided the local senior citizen food bank, where they get government subsidies to keep the program going.
Executive Director Angie Lamborn encountered new faces among the regular visitors during the occupation. They asked for extra food and acknowledged they weren’t full-time residents, she said.
Lamborn couldn’t quantify the impact on the senior center’s finances, but she said they’ve “taken a pretty big hit” as a result.
Think they had a run on snacks and French Vanilla creamer?

1Perhaps Executive Director, Angie Lamborn will testify at their trials as to how she and her staff were threatened/intimidated into supplying the welfare moochers. It’s not as if she could have called LE, when it a well known secret that so many of them are also wing nut ‘sovereign’ citizens.
Wonder what regional chief MO and nacilbupeR Orrin Hatch has to say about this welfare fraud. Surely he doesn’t think the Book of Mo describes ‘self-sufficiency’ as stealing from senior citizens.
2It really chaps my butt to think of grown men–most with jobs they abandoned–pleading for food meant for the really needy.
If I had the final say, I’d say charge their families for food and rent while they’re in prison. You know, like the third world sh!tholes they want to turn this country into.

5Mooching off a food bank. Wow. Won’t be able to do that when they get “big goverment” off their backs! I say we get Cliven’s cattle, slaughter them and let the food bank have all that beef for free. The seniors could use a nice roast I would think. Call it sweet justice.

I was thinking periodic contact with certain poisonous marine life forms. Certain jellyfish, Portugese-Man-O’War, stingray, hardhead catfish, lionfish, et al.
If you’ve ever been hit by any of those suckers you know what real pain is. A week’s worth of hourly ‘treatment’ sessions in tanks, then a choice of that deadly little SW Pacific snail, sharks or piranhas.

12In early February Miz JJ posted aboot this and I thought I emptied my venom sac then aboot these welfare queens and their occupation of the Malheur NWR. Apparently not. I followed a link to amazon about Tarp boy and his apocalyptic fiction. In it, much like Hitler foretelling his desire to kill European Jews in Mein Kampf Tarp boy foretold a shootout with authorities. He apparently writes this statement, ironic in the light of his demise,
“We should be free to make stupid choices if we want and then be allowed to experience the full weight of those choices.”
Well Tarp boy and I agree with that.

14OMG. Stealing from a food bank. Even the neediest around here don’t even do that. Karma is truly going to kick their butts into the next galaxy. What concerns me now is there some kind of concerted effort to fund the food bank to cope with the big hole that has been thrown at them? Anything on the internet in this regard yet?

16It seems that these types always want to go back to the ‘good ole days.” OK, how about they get to experience, first hand (so to speak), the good ole institution of chain gangs. There are lots of projects that need to get done (like cleaning cr#p out of ditches, repairing fences, patching roads, repairing buildings, etc).
