I am honored and privileged to know Miss Juanita Jean Herownself, hairdresser extraordinary and political maven. Since she does not have time to fiddle with this internet stuff, I type her website for her and you can read it if you want to. If you don't, she truly does not give a big bear's butt.
A lot of what I post here has to do with local politics, but you probably have the same folks in your local government.

1My grandma’s birthday! She’d be 104 today. She taught me a lot about tenacity and living with the hand life dealt you. She lived to be 95 and was feisty to the end. You would have loved her, Miz Juanita.

I have reminded half a dozen whiners that they LIKE clean water, breathable air, electricity, and good roads. They give me dirty looks for messing up their Grover Norquist meme. I smile serenely at them, secure in my talking points 🙂 🙂 🙂

5Aggieland liz, another thing that baffles me about some Texans. Given the love some of them have for football, why don’t the feeder breeder cheerleader parents support education? Now that there is an opening for NCAA athletes to unionize, it would be stellar if High School athletes unionized and demanded an education that would give them access to college.
Keeping our kids stupid isn’t even a Republican goal. It’s the wish of the 1% robber barons and fundamentalists. Albeit, they have different motives, but the end result is the same.
