A lot of what I post here has to do with local politics, but you probably have the same folks in your local government.

Ms. Jen Psaki is awesome as press secretary. She’s cool. She’s calm and she does not suffer the fools sent in by wingnut media to promulgate the ***king moron’s lies.
How many press briefings now? Yet Fox Not the News and other right wing propaganda outlets never learn it is not smart to leap into any end of a pool that has been drained. Idiots. Keep asking stupid questions and expect a soft landing in an empty pool. Worse. They climb to a higher balcony of stupid, expecting to make a bigger splash – in a dry pool.
1I love watching her little smile, the twinkle in her eye develop as yet another unwary questioner steps into the quicksand of “some people are saying…”

3It is pretty clear that long before she became the president’s press secretary she was involved in some long and hard thinking about how to handle that room.
The Trump people weren’t big on planning. They just felt all they had to do is act like “the world is ours suck it.”
We are going to miss her after her one-year term but I am pretty sure the next one is prepping hard. He or she is not going to follow this act with a weak act.
4She knows her stuff and comes armed with facts. The previous maladministration came armed with lies and conspiracies. Some in the press (FUX news) can’t handle that.

Enjoy Ms. Psaki while you can … she’s already made it clear she won’t be Press Secretary long. Earlier this month, she said
“I think it’s going to be time for somebody else to have this job in a year from now or about a year from now.”
Here’s hoping one of those in the WH Communication group will be honing skills to take over with much the same sort of attitude and equal competence.

11Jane & PKM, I was thinking along the same lines earlier tonight. A friend was saying how the discovery of the I-40 bridge situation came at the perfect time, with Uncle Joe pushing his infrastructure plan.
12And the more we talked, the more we thought about how folks like the inspector who shut down the bridge were in some way stifled for the last 4 years.
Folks in government agencies who were smart enough to get Masters and Doctorates in their fields, then go to work for us.
When they could’ve made lots more money in the private sector.
I think agencies under Uncle Joe are doing their jobs, which is playing catch-up.
