Jeff Sessions in Alabama
So, Republicans are feeling their oats in Aladamnbama and think they can easily win back their senate seat from Doug Jones. Yeah, I don’t doubt it either.
Some people think Jeff Sessions can win his old seat back, but others aren’t as sure.
Though Sessions would be the clear front-runner if he runs, his frayed ties with Trump could create an opening for other Republicans to make a play for the seat — and cause a messy primary similar to the one that cost the party the seat last year, several Alabama Republicans tracking the situation said.
Here you’ve got yourself a genuine admitted Klan member who ain’t conservative enough for Alabama. Ain’t that somethin’?
They’ll go out and find another pedophile who would be more acceptable to Donald Trump, get his wife some bleach blonde hair and the ability to say the word Jew and spit at the same time, and a church choir and run that guy for senate.
Given the hate-mongering in Alabama, Sessions will probably end up back in the Senate. His recusal may have saved himself felony charges with regard to his lies about meeting with Russians. One can only hope he doesn’t get away with it.
1America is still under the control of the mentally deficient.
Sessions has just been through the front door of Hell. At his age he may decide that the better part of valor is retirement as an elder statesman, get a ghost writer and put out a book. The Keebler elf knows that running this time would probably not be worth it as the Trumpians demand at every whistle stop that he explain why he disappointed their god Trump so badly.
2I agree with Maggie and Maryelle
Today’s media intensive America would make it difficult for Ernie to run without enduring the kind of relentless questioning the tiny little nacilbupeR candidate has experienced in the neighboring rebellious State. Ernie wouldn’t fare well. And now that we all know his KKK connections and Mrs King’s letter concerning his unsuitableness for service as a Federal judge.
3Micr, your arguments are sound. However, we’re talking Alabama not to mention that goober passed Senate confirmation to AG despite those same arguments and facts. Would call it 50-50 today. Depending on what happens in Mississippi tomorrow all bets are off if Cindy Hyde Cracker is seated in the same Congress as Louie Gohmert. “The South” may not be rising, but there’s a gloomy chance they’re ready to sink the nation along with our principles.
