It’s True

December 14, 2020 By: Juanita Jean Herownself Category: Uncategorized

Well, I spent a little time researching this over on Twitter, and best I can figure out, it’s true.

I do know that Pfizer took no Warp Speed money and that the Trump Administration (and I am being very generous with that term because it was really a Criminal Enterprise not an Administration) refused offers to buy more before it hit the market. And that, my friends, is how you bankrupt a casino.

And thanks once again, Ted, for making Texas look so damn smart.

Thanks to Ron for the heads up.

  1. What color is that egg on your face, Ted?
    Green?
What color is the ham who asks a smartass question without knowing the correct answer?

I swear Ted Cruz has to be the only guy in the world who needs
a twitter chaperone. He consistently makes himself look like a smug asshole.

Chaperone…”Are you sure you want to sent that Ted?
    Remember what happened last time?”

My brother has lived in Germany for years, so I’ve been chatting with him about the vaccine situation. Dear Hubby and I had already decided whichever vac Angela Merkel was going to take was the only one we’d trust.
He told us they are pretty much using the Pfizer, and then I found out later that’s the one they’re planning to give to the Queen. I doubt they’d give her anything that might kill her off.
Very glad here in Virginia that our governor is an actual physician and we’re getting the Pfizer here, too.

  4. Steve from Beaverton says:

Ever since Cruz criticized Trumpf in 2015, he’s been a Trumpf ass kisser. Stupid Cruz has no clue about the development of the Pfizer vaccine (anymore than Trumpf does), but since Trumpf has publicly claimed his personal responsibility for its development several times, Cruz just falls in line. Whatever dear master says.

  5. Opinionated Hussy says:

Steve from Beaverton – that’s “der Fuhrer”, not “dear master”.

    5
  6. Grandma Ada says:

And yet, a majority of Texans returned him to the Senate until 2024.

    7
  7. I’ve been told that Cruz is a constitutional scholar. I guess that means he has no expertise in anything else.

    8
  8. Cato the Censor says:

Would someone who is more knowledgeable please tell me when Cruz started speaking in that affected Texas drawl? It’s phony as hell and really annoying.

    9
  9. Steve from Beaverton says:

BSFMan- no that means cruz has no expertise in anything, period.

  10. Steve from Beaverton says:

This is a refreshing sign- need more of these actual patriots:

  11. Steve from Beaverton says:

Hate when this happens- if you want to read this, you’ll need to look on RawStory because my link gave me an error. It is a nice change from a republican.

    12
  12. Geeze!!!! This ted guy is such an effing clown!!!!!!!!!!!

    14
  13. I actually don’t cringe quite as much at Cruz’ drawl as I do when he puts on his evangelical preacher mode. That makes me absolutely nauseous.

    15
  14. Jane & PKM says:

There are some folks who deserve a legal defense fund. Heidi Crooze comes to mind, if the citizens of Texas of Texas don’t recall his sorry carcass. #PillowForHeidi

Legal defense fund for Messy? No. Maybe a deportation order.

  15. don’t get too excited, steve from beaverton.

    1) dude voted with trump 95% of the time, and he switched to “independent,” not “democrat.” so you can expect him to continue caucusing with the party he just “quit.”

    2) he is a lame duck anyway.

    17
  16. So without checking anything, it seems Cruz just automatically assumes that all things great, like a drug breakthrough, must come from fuck-yea-America.

And Texas trusts this guy to legislate.

Wasn’t Ted Crud born in Canada?

    19
  18. lfC@19 “Wasn’t Ted Crud born in Canada?”

Yes he was, everyone knows it. He also ran for president of the United States while being an admitted Canadian citizen, although he made a half-assed attempt to keep it under wraps. Therefore he should be sitting on his ass in prison for attempting to subvert the United States Constitution!

    20
  19. Yes, Ted Cruz was born in Canada and maintained dual citizenship. He kept stating that he would renounce his Canadian citizenship, but I’m not sure he ever did.

    21
  20. Steve from Beaverton says:

Joel, I think his message to repugnanticans might resonate with some, but I have no delusions he’s going to become a Democrat. It does beat the 126 house house members that are full fledged cultists and signed on with Texas.
Maybe a 3rd party? That would break up the 46% of voters that voted Trumpf.

  21. maryelle says:

I think it’s included on page 63 of Trump’s fantastic health care plan that’s ready to go and will be released in 2 weeks. The Ted Cruz No Health Care For Dual Citizens Clause. Right before Death Panels, which are really in there this time.

Ain’t it the truth? trump’s 2 weeks e.t.a. has been one of my go-to points for 4 years now.

  24. Harry Eagar says:

A lot of discoveries from many places went into that vaccine but no matter when you start counting, most of them originated in Europe.

The key discovery, the one that made an mRNA vaccine thinkable, came from a couple of Danes investigating yogurt for a dairy.

    True story.
