It’s That Time!

You asked for it so here it is.  Glen and I are raising money for the Ballot by Mail program.

Click the button up in the header that says DONATE and get started making a real difference in Texas.  Glen has promised to dance on the table again this year if we reach our $10,000 goal.

And remember, every penny you donate goes directly to the actual program – there’s no overhead and Glen and I volunteer our time for this.

Go pick yourself an orphan county.

    I dunno. Will Glen dance with a rose between his teeth? Also, as I recall from my time in Texas the formula was “dance in a pig trough at your wedding for you”.

    But since I’m already married I’ll not expect that this time. Also since I’m married, I’ll donate but first have to check with my ol’ lady.

    And same as BarbinDC: I’ll let you decide where the money will do the most good. It’s clearly a waste in my old stomping grounds of Tarrant County.

    I benefit from a version of program in McLennan County. But we are not on your list so you may use my donation in a county that needs more help than we need.

    I donated, but did not see how to pick a county. If I were to pick, it would be Comanche County.

    I donated as well but have no idea which county to pick, so again it’s up to you.

    As an Alaskan, I feel a kinship with Texas. We don’t have as many weird politicians, but we’re still struggling against the right wingers. And worse, we have a governor who is a Trump wannabe intent on dismantling all the good things we have accomplished.

    I tried to donate for Leon County. Tell ActBlue to fix whatever they have that is messed up. I got as far as trying to give them the expiration date of my card and it wouldn’t allow me to change the default. Three. Damned. Times. I will try again later. Wish me luck.
