It’s Not a Perky Day for Governor Greg Abbott

August 09, 2021 By: Juanita Jean Herownself Category: Uncategorized

Everybody is just ganging up on Greg Abbott.

Late last night three of the Texas Democrats holding up in Washington to protect to my voting rights filed papers in court saying that Greg Abbott did not have the power to arrest them if they return to Texas.

“The men and women of the Texas House, many of whom are Black and Brown Democrats, are not animals or property to be corralled by law enforcement and cabined against our will. It is morally wrong to believe otherwise. We will not allow our democracy to devolve into dictatorship,” said Rep. Trey Martinez Fischer

State District Judge Brad Urrutia agreed and signed a 3-page order late Sunday that was filed Monday in Travis County District Court. So Greg can just take off his Stalin boots and roll his butt someplace a little calmer and far less smug.

Then to make matters even more embarrassing.  He had his bluff called by the Dallas school superintendent.

Governor Abbott decided that no school in Texas can mandate masks when school starts.  This is particularly troublesome in Texas because the Governor has destroyed our electrical grid to make his friends rich so there’s no way you can depend on a ventilator working if weather happens.

Part of the Governor’s threat to make the schools safe for Covid included a $1,000 fine if a school decides to fight him on it. Dallas schools are mandating masks.

DISD Superintendent Dr. Michael Hinojosa said the would pay the $1,000 fine under Abbott’s executive order out of his own pocket if necessary.

Whacha gonna do, Abbott, go to Dallas and rip masks off of kindergarteners? Governor, Dude, do not take on Dr. Michael Hinojosa because that guy is as tough as a $2 steak.

Hey, Abbott, time to give up and go take a nap.

Be social and share!

  1. Seems like some folks are objecting to the Guv’s efforts to kill them all. It’s about time.

  2. I wonder what the mask policy around his office is?

  3. John Thorne says:

I hope our local school district (and every school district in Texas, frankly) does the same thing.

  4. Sandridge says:

It’s about damned time that most all Texas school districts, county and city/town governments just flip Guv Abbutt the bird, and openly defy he and his minions murderous Hitlerian dictates.

If a serious percentage of these local entities were to stand up and do so, this despicable serial mass-murderer would be rendered powerless. Texass doesn’t have enough corrupted AGs or DPS stormtroopers to hassle all of them united together against these asinine criminal mandates.
Greggie could fume and spit ’til the C19 virus carries his sorry ass off to his just rewards [good ol’ Lucifer is waiting, Greg], he’d just be pissin’ up a short string..

Just curious — since I’m a damn Yankee who won’t set foot in Texas but love to watch it from afar, like it’s a whole other country — but am curious if actual Texans believe their Gov Abbott nurses a sense of victimization due to his physical condition. Is Abbott consumed by bitter resentment that drives him to pronounce indictments, dispense cruelty, and lord it over others? Or is he merely stupid?

  6. Grandma Ada says:

Y’all, Abbott needs some time at his own home with his own family . . . a LONG time. Please be sure you are registered to vote in 2022, remember how you signed your name to your ID years ago, drive to your proper voting location and push the button to give Abbott what he needs. And send some of his friends home too

  7. Fred Farkleshine says:

This might be a little cruel but after Abbott being the Gov of Texas for 2 terms, I don’t think it is!
When the new Gov for Texas is sworn in, an Texas state attendant should walk over Abbott and tell him that State of Texas wants its wheelchair back now, since your no longer the Gov. you don’t rate a wheelchair from the state!
It would be a great end to Abbott, seeing him dumped out of the wheelchair, laying on the floor soiling himself, with no one lending even a finger, to help him!
I know this is not nice but when did Abbott ever do anything in his pitiful life, to be nice to anyone! FH!

  8. Katherine says:

Grandma Ada, I don’t think Abbott has any friends.

  9. slipstream says:

Governor Abbot: what number of dead children is acceptable?

    9
  10. Wow TX and FL Both those butt sniffers are still under the dump’s spell….hoping it doesn’t spread much more It is incredibly sad to see this stoooooopid stuff is still going on.

    10
  11. Fran seyer, you are too kind when you label it as merely stupid.

    11
  12. Avis, speaking only for myself, Abbott is not stupid. He’s stoking the hatred of his base, many of whom are stupid, but mostly willfully ignorant. And he’s plenty smart enough to know how. He’s part of the push towards authoritarianism, and away from representative democracy.
So in other words, for lack of better descriptors, he’s an un-American, lowlife ratf**king bastard wannabe dictator.

Hmmph. Turns out I wasn’t lacking so much after all.
But again, that’s just my opinion and I’m just as full of shit as anybody else.
    Sorry mamma.

  13. Steve from Beaverton says:

As I commented in Nick Carraway’s article above, I think there are grounds for citizens to sue abbutt head in court for what he’s doing. And also as mentioned by another commentator on Nick’s article, citizens of Florida are do exactly that right now. I think we know of a terrific attorney that would be great for this. Right JJ?

    13
  14. Agree with P.P. above. Abbott is far from stupid, but unfortunately he has no soul, morals, scruples, etc. He will do literally anything to get and keep power, the innocent people of Texas be damned.

    14
  15. G Foresight says:

There is a whole thread on the twitter universe showing Abutt at a gathering of unmasked supporters. He is playing a fiddle to the adoring herd.

“Nero playing his violin while Rome burned may be a myth, but Abbott playing his fiddle is on tape….”

“…how it all happened, kids. Texas was burning down while Emperor Abutt played the fiddle.”

    etc.

  16. I’ve said it elsewhere, and I’ll say it here. Greggie’s doing all this stuff because he’s running against three certifiable loons: Don Huffines, Allen West, and Ron Deathsantis. And they’re all vying for the certifiably loony vote.

The NSGOP may have been a respectable political party once upon a time.

    16
  17. Well, Elon could make A Butt a 150 mph wheelchair to run away, but I think a wheelchair in space is better…
