It’s Nasty So It Has Got To Be Illegal
Texas Governor Greg Abbott’s latest fetish is pornography and he’s pretty much certain that it’s just all over schoolhouses hiding in full sight in places called “libraries.”
He wrote a letter this week directly to the Commissioner of the Texas Education Agency to drop whatever it is that he’s doing right now and to find the criminals who are putting pornography in our public schools.
The presence of pornography in schools is not only inappropriate, but it is also against the law. In Texas, it is illegal to provide pornography to anyone under the age of 18 according to Section 43.24 of the Texas Penal Code. The fact that pornographic material that serves no educational purpose has been made available to students in Texas public schools is a clear violation of the law.
Because, you know damn well that if anybody needs to go to prison, it’s those damn librarians.
Oh y’all, he’s serious.
I am directing the Texas Education Agency to investigate any criminal activity in our public schools involving the availability of pornography. During this investigation, I ask the agency to refer any instance of pornography being provided to minors under the age of 18 for prosecution to the fullest extent of the law.
Y’all, he just loves to talk dirty. He does not have enough to do with his time. Kissing up to perverts takes a lot of time because his perverts have never-ending perversions.
Wonder if he’ll make an executive order authorizing $10,000 rewards for his voters to find neked pictures in their schools, and sue the librarians. A move probably coming to a state near you.

3Sometimes I daydream about a Democrat in Austin, then I wake up and it’s still the same old men getting all jiggy about books that they don’t and won’t read. I’m sure they all snuck into the school library as kids to look at the National Geographics!

Anything (not just books) that includes “black lives matter”, “gender”, “gay”, or “Roe v. Wade” is on the list. He also seems to really hate the word “rainbow” in a title.
There’s several that I suspect got swept up in his keyword search: “Cynical theories : how activist scholarship made everything about race, gender, and identity–and why this harms everybody”. Surely a rabid Republican would love something like that! A graphic novel set in a future England that has been taken over by libruls is included, “V For Vendetta”.
If he’s read even two of the books I’ll be shocked. Someone in a public forum needs to challenge him by asking “This book titled Far from Xanadu, what’s it about? Hell, if he’s read more than two books since he was excreted from Liberty University, I’ll eat them.
14What’s next? Will they send porno cops to homes, convenience stores and bookstores to collect up the flesh magazines? The GOP’ers like Gaetz probably have stack next to the toilet or hidden under their mattress.
Will they abolish adult toy stores be next?
Will battery powered toothbrushes be put behind the counter for fear that people will be stimulating more than their gums?

Any kid with a smart cell phone can get porno. Much easier than looking for it in a library…. just saying.
18The other day as I was driving my grandchildren home from school they got into a wrangle about which color flags go with which sexual preferences.
They are 7, 9 and 10. I imagine they picked that up at school but not from the teachers.
