BTW, authentic Christian clergy have been active helping the Resistance in Charlottesville since yesterday. They’ve showed up, put their alb- and collar- and stole-clad bodies on the line. That’s what a Jesus follower does.

Couple of hours ago Cory Gardner, republican senator from Colorado tweeted:” Mr. President- we must call evil by its name. These were white supremacists and this was domestic terrorism”. 27Since I am still determined to retire in the Charlottesville area, I have been doing some more thinking. The statue of Lee really had nothing to do with the Nazis appearing on campus and then in the streets. They don’t need an excuse or a reason but I can bet that they got a real buzz out of taking their nastiness right to the one thing Tom Jefferson really, really held next to his heart – the university he founded. They must have thought it fun to stomp around on ground that originated with the author of the Statute of Religious Liberty and the Declaration of Independence. Of course, this has not penetrated the Barking Yam’s brain. He absolutely cannot make connections. It looks like General Kelly can. Bannon has been found in Kelly’s perspective to be running his own Nazi agenda from the White House and that just isn’t going to work. Hopefully when Kelly boots him, the rest of his ilk at the WH goes with him. That would leave the Barking Yam with no further excuses. The emperor will at last have not a stitch to wear!

29I have watched the videos and seen the pictures from this insanity. As a feminist and previous qualitative researcher, I noticed that all I saw on the KKK side were men. Why do you suppose that is?
I am really asking this as a serious question. Are white supremacist women not allowed to march with the men? Did they anticipate violence and not let the wimmenfolk come?
I would be interested in the thoughts of the people on this forum.
