Welcome to The World's Most Dangerous Beauty Salon, Inc.
My name is Susan DuQuesnay Bankston. I live in Richmond, Texas, in the heart of Tom DeLay's old district. It's nuttier than squirrel poop here.
I am honored and privileged to know Miss Juanita Jean Herownself, hairdresser extraordinary and political maven. Since she does not have time to fiddle with this internet stuff, I type her website for her and you can read it if you want to. If you don't, she truly does not give a big bear's butt.
A lot of what I post here has to do with local politics, but you probably have the same folks in your local government.
This ain't a blog. Blogs are way too trendy for me. This is a professional political organization.
O.K. One question. Were they ever afraid? There was at least one running loose in my territory when I was a kid. He actually hid behind the bible and his bassackward collar to do it, but at least there was a bishop who could and did yank his chain. He certainly wasn’t as public but he was still a raving unafraid racist. If there is some kind of magic mist that can be sprayed over them and change them into a Matthew 25 frame of mind, please tell me about it.
1Racists-especially of the wingnut persuasion, are only afraid of getting caught and exposed. After that, they gladly go on Fake Noize and admit they are racists, but it is the victims fault for making white wingnuts racist.
2JJ – Where is this graffiti?
3maggie,
4I don’t know if racists were ever afraid, but they certainly were a lot quieter for awhile.
Every country has racists. What makes it ugly as sin is when the racists feel free to be racists in public, and especially in public policy. Trump in the US and the Brexit vote in the UK have brought the former out from under their moldy rocks, and they’d do the latter if they get any more numerous.
I like the slogan and I think it would go well on a shirt or red ballcap.
5There is a hip hop artist in Sacramento selling drumpf like hats with this slogan on them. I don’t know if he coined the phrase and graffitti artist used it or if it was the other way around. Then I looked a little longer and found this- http://www.pictaram.com/media/1349425038377702409_1248455485
6How about if the GOP makes racism unacceptable and actually criticizes their members for being racist assholes? Maybe if they had leadership and ethics they could.
7If you want to make racists afraid again, just get them out of their element. Outnumber them. They are cowards when they are not part of a mob and they need to be called on their crap. I am guilty of holding my tongue in the name of peaceful relations. But their biggest strength is their belief that everyone that looks like them thinks like them. They are the minority and they need to be shown that.
8They’re always afraid. That’s why they act the way they do.
9They are like nightcrawlers that don’t like the light of day shone on them and their activities. Come to think on it, they prolly mirt right in front of god and everybody like nightcrawlers do.
10That looks like it should be my next bumper sticker
11Speaking of bumper stickers, I saw one today that made me laugh.

Actually I think the second line was “Just get it over with”.
Anyway…my brain doesn’t retain things as well as it used to.

14I love that graffiti and I’m in total agreement. As Rhea said, there have always been racists, but they’ve been afraid to show their ugly faces. That is a good thing.
