I Kinda Suspected

July 11, 2017 By: Juanita Jean Herownself Category: Uncategorized

A 57 year old woman in Iowa plead guilty yesterday to election fraud. Terri Lynn Rote tried to vote for Donald Trump twice and got caught.

Rote told police why she tried to vote more than once. She was convinced her first vote for Mr. Trump would be manipulated and changed to a vote for then-Democratic candidate Hillary Clinton. According to her statement to the police, Rote believed Mr. Trump’s claims about widespread election rigging.

So in Trumpville you combat election rigging by voting twice.

Oh, but there’s more.

Rote’s court-ordered attorney said Rote had “significant mental deficits” and “cognitive limitations” that would prevent her from standing a fair trial during a court filing in January.

Dude, no. That is not an adequate defense.  That, my friend, pretty much describes everyone who voted for Trump.

IOKIYAR, so relax. Besides, she’s white and her heart’s in the right place.

  2. Here’s a thought, if your “significant mental deficits” and “cognitive limitations” would prevent you from standing a fair trial, you are probably to mentally deficient to vote, to own a firearm, and to do a number of other every day activities. How can a political party depend on the vote of the mentally deficient members of our common society to remain in power and still look themselves in the eye in the morn? Notice I have not commented on mentally deficient candidates that party might proffer on election day!

  3. Is somebody keeping track of election fraud by GOP vs by Dems? Since the GOP scream about it so much, I’m betting they do most of it.

  4. Just goes to showya. Repugnantcan politicians really do accurately reflect their voters.

It never occurs to Republicans that other people do not think like they do. They constantly think about how to win an election by rigging it even if they actually don’t do it.

But they have been so conditioned to believing the other side (liberal) is full of evil it goes right over their heads that most of them never even thought of it in the first place.

  6. Micr, Sociopaths have no problem looking themselves in the eye in the morning.

  7. @Cheryl

    Good point.

I guess I wasn’t thinking in terms of sociopath, I was thinking in terms of diminished or impaired mental faculties.

    Cognitive limitations – Check
    White – Check
Voted for Trump twice – Check

On second thought, how do they do this? Where I vote, they take my name and ask me who I am and where I live and if I come back a second time I have to surmise that someone would have something to say about it.

Well, glory be. We actually do have voter fraud charges being filed against a Colorado Springs woman. She wasn’t caught by any list or purge, but by a local TV news channel investigation. She apparently used her dead parents’ ballots to vote for several years after they died.

Wanna guess which party she belongs to? ;->

That constant conviction that Repubs have that Dems are trying to cheat? Projection.

  12. She voted twice because of trumps claim of wide spread voter fraud. I know for a fact that trumps claim of voter fraud came after the election was over and Clinton had more popular votes. trump has now appointed a voter suppression commission to try and support the lie.

Just for the record, this is voter fraud, not election fraud. Unlike voter fraud, election fraud is a substantial threat.

    Um.
And what made her think that her SECOND vote wouldn’t be manipulated and cast for Clinton just like she was convinced her first vote was? Obviously, there was only one solution: every Trump supporter who was certain the election was going to be rigged should have stayed home on election day. That was the only way to be absolutely certain their paranoid delusions would not be fulfilled.

Added Bonus: Their health care would have been safe. Their planet would have been far better off. Their schools would have been better [and the next generation would have been less likely to vote for bozos.] The separation of church and state would have been more secure and people would not be banned from the country due to their religion. There would be less violence being committed against people based on the amount of melanin in their skin and who they love.
    Oh, all kinds of benefits.

    Just sayin.
