My name is Susan DuQuesnay Bankston. I live in Richmond, Texas, in the heart of Tom DeLay's old district. It's nuttier than squirrel poop here.
I am honored and privileged to know Miss Juanita Jean Herownself, hairdresser extraordinary and political maven. Since she does not have time to fiddle with this internet stuff, I type her website for her and you can read it if you want to. If you don't, she truly does not give a big bear's butt.
A lot of what I post here has to do with local politics, but you probably have the same folks in your local government.
This ain't a blog. Blogs are way too trendy for me. This is a professional political organization.
This may be the only election in history in which one party’s keynote speaker advocates for the deportation of the other party’s keynote speaker.

7Since I live surrounded by San Antonio, I can tell you I think he is doing a great job as mayor. He’s young, good-looking, smart as they come, and should give a great speech. San Antonio is the largest city with a AAA credit rating, which speaks well for Mayor Castro and the former Democratic mayor.

11Did you see Rachel Maddow tonight? Praise for Mayor Castro, saying there are those who say he could be the first Hispanic president. Also noted a Republican (don’t know who!) predicting that if Cruz won today (he evidently did) that Texas will be purple in 4 years. I’m about to believe it; JJ and Bubba will lead us all!
12BTW, he is kinda cute. And he has laughing eyes. A good sign of a pure soul.
He spoke at the Texas Democratic Convention and his identical twin brother introduced him. Wouldn’t it be great to have a Texas Democratic Governor who became President to offset the Dubya curse. But I am determined to have a woman President in 2016.
13He and his brother Joaquin are both terrific!
