I Dunno ‘Bout This. At Best, It’s Creepy.

So Donald Trump is all excited about this photoshopping.  He put it on Twitter.

This is especially weird because Trump hates dogs.  Also hates women, people of color especially Hispanics, no wait, especially blacks, no, no, Muslims, mostly Muslims, rain, California, wives, yackity hookers, anything requiring attention of more than 5 minutes, truth, the word “Hillary,” normal ties, baseball at the Nationals stadium, justice, America, and little baby kittens.

Be social and share!

  2. He will do and say anything for recognition and attention to bolster his teeny-tiny ego regardless of the potential repercussions.

I wonder when the ignoramus infesting the White House will identify the dog and his handler and possibly endanger everyone in their unit.

  4. Trump probably photoshopped the hero canine out of an abundance of caution, that a well trained “dog” (as he calls them) would recognize a threat when he sees one. It wouldn’t be the first time:

“Donald was not a dog fan,” Ivana Trump wrote in her 2017 memoir, Raising Trump, recounted his resistance to her bringing a poodle named Chappy home. The poodle, however, soon showed that the feeling of dislike was mutual.

  5. The Surly Professor says:

The encouraging part of the story is the reaction of the medic whose photo was shopped to replace him with the dog:

“McCloughan, 73, who had not seen the image before a reporter sent it to him, said that he interpreted it as Mr. Trump recognizing the dog’s heroism. He certainly was not offended and laughed when he compared the two images.”

Read the rest of his comments; it shows how a Good Guy (TM) reacts to something like this in a non-political way:

Regard it as a palate-cleanser, if you earlier read Goofy Gohmert’s comments about the impeachment process, and you want something sensible to flush out the foul taste.

Lawrence J.C. VanDyke openly wept on Wednesday before the Senate Judiciary Committee as he was confronted with a blistering review from the American Bar Association, which found that he was not qualified to serve on the federal courts after having been nominated by President Donald Trump.

The ABA, which can’t officially block nominees but whose recommendations are seen as carrying substantial weight, wrote of VanDyke:

When confronted with these findings, which had been made public the previous night, VanDyke became distressed in the middle of the hearing and began crying. His face turned red.
