How Low Can You Go?

December 05, 2012 By: Juanita Jean Herownself Category: Uncategorized

So Karl Rove scammed the Koch Brothers and Sheldon Adelson out of more money than it costs to land on Boardwalk with two hotels.  Rove ain’t worried about a paycheck from Fox News.

But what about poor, silly, ridiculous Dick Morris?

Ailes has issued a new directive to his staff: He wants the faces associated with the election off the air — for now. For Karl Rove and Dick Morris — a pair of pundits perhaps most closely aligned with Fox’s anti-Obama campaign — Ailes’s orders mean new rules. Ailes’s deputy, Fox News programming chief Bill Shine, has sent out orders mandating that producers must get permission before booking  Rove or  Morris.

So, Rove and Morris have to get a note from home prior to being on Fox News?

They have officially been kicked out of the seediest bar in town.

Okay, everybody, all together now:  Awwwww……..

Thanks to everybody for the heads up.

  1. This is a CYA move on RA’s part since Bob Woodward just reported that “Roger Ailes asked David Petraeus to run for president: What it says about Fox News. Just imagine the furor that would erupt if the head of another news organization was caught recruiting presidential candidates.” Then DP gets caught with his “pants down” and has to resign. RA tries to say that the person he sent was not speaking for him, blah blah blah (bull hockey!). Isn’t there something illegal about this that the FCC or the Justice Dept can go after these guys? The FCC is about to let Rupert the Murd buy more US newspapers – if nothing else, this action should be a warning to the FCC. Sheesh!

When ROGER AILES won’t have you on, you’re pretty low. Low like whale poop on the ocean floor, low.

I may have to go out and have a glass of something sparkly to celebrate.

  3. Just to toss in a little more seediness – Apparently Roger Ailes’ boss, Rupert Murdoch, was planning to “bankroll” Petreaus~

I think the principal should give them a good talking to.

  5. They let those two, who at least could speak coherently, go, yet keep sarah palin. She has no brains, no experience and is just eye candy…..

Yep, keep the eye candy on Fox.

  6. @Diane, from the clip I saw yesterday of the Tundra Turd, she’s looking a little shop-worn if you get my drift. That candy has passed the use by date by about two years or more.

  7. W C Peterson says:

And MSNBC fired Keith Olbermann for contributing a pittance to a Democratic candidate. No double standard there.
Roger Ailes was an intern in the Nixon White House and has been a Republican hack ever since. The FCC should investigate Faux.

  8. TexasEllen says:

Whale poop. May neither of them ever be televised for anything short of being swarmed by bees.

  9. Don’t forget that the demographic changes hurting the Republican party also target Fox. Fox, after all, panders to the same base base.

The difference may be that Fox, which is cold-bloodedly profit-motivated, could find it easier to actually broaden their appeal. The GOP true believers can’t bring themselves to do it.

In the Game of Grift, much like the Limbo Dance, no low is too low.

  11. To the tune of the Linda Ronstadt / Warren Zevon song:

I’d lay my head on our tracking polls
    Like 2000 in Flori-dee
But Crossroads don’t run right no more
    Poor poor pitiful me

    Poor, poor pitiful me
    Poor, poor pitiful me
Roger Ailes won’t let me be
    Lord have mercy on me
    Woe is me

Speaking of seedy bars…….There’s a place in Vegas that offers vomit insurance. If you buy it and puke in the bar, they clean up after you. If you aren’t insured they make you clean it up and then throw you out.

Sounds to me like they could have used a little of that around Fox News.

  13. The story I heard about RA was that the idea for a Republican media outlet originated when he was the media consultant for Nixon’s campaign…but they didn’t have enough money. Along comes Rupert and he had his “Daddy Big Pockets”.
Oh, and RA won’t have me on any of the shows either. I’m not low–just sane and honest.

    Best thang: reading Juanita.
2nd best thang: reading what the rest of you say about what Juanita said!

  15. Awww! Poor widdle Wove and Wick Worris…Fox News don’t want you two no mores…don’t worry; some day you will be in prison or dead, which is a WHOLE lot betters…

    15
  16. Not to worry Dick (perfect name) & Karl. There’s always the Glen Beck, Rush Limbat shows.
