Hotels.com Failure

July 06, 2017 By: Juanita Jean Herownself Category: Uncategorized

Trump, who claims to be a successful hotel developer, planned a trip to Germany without thinking about hotel reservations.

President Donald Trump nearly missed out on staying in Hamburg, Germany — site of this week’s G20 summit — because his staff waited too long to book a hotel.

The summit, which was scheduled in February, requires 9,000 hotel rooms to accommodate world leaders, their aides and security details, but White House staffers didn’t immediately make reservations, reported Buzzfeed.

He almost had to stay 180 miles away.  Now, just try to tell me that Angela Merkel didn’t do this on purpose.

Germans have a sense of humor and offered him another hotel room on Ebay.

I’m betting he would stolen that coffee table.

Ah….. they don’t look happy to see each other.

Despite busing in folks for an adoring Donnie fake crowd scene, those on the ground with Dolt45 failed to inform Poland’s First Lady to adore Donnie. OOPS.

No room at the inn in Germany. Sad.

Doesn’t have 80000 feet of living room space like Drumpf Dump New York has.

  3. Yes, I can believe that a bunch of know-nothing staffers didn’t book space when it was available. Does Germany have the equivalent of a Motel Six, where they always leave the light on for ya?

Amateur Night at the White House has gone on months and months too long. It’s what you get when you have such a high opinion of yourself that you fire everyone who knows what they’re doing so you can be surrounded by your friends. Bad move.

Hahaha, be sure to check out ALL the rooms on the Ebay listing. Very specific and funny too.

The incompetence keeps marching along. The Trump Circus is an international joke.

When the Trump administration came across the reservations made by the Obama administration, a year or more ago, they threw is out along with everything else that had Obama’s name on it.

A long time ago, I read a book about the Secret Service and how they would book three entire floors of a hotel to provide protection. Kinda hard to do on short notice for a busy week.

I think the hard right MAGAs have this idea our country has carte blanche for the King of the World. They don’t understand just how difficult it was to create the niche we held.
And 45 is trashing it with his know-it-all ignorance.

  10. When I heard this news, I came right to JJ because this is so ripe for jokes but the thing is that it is equally funny and equally sad. Really hard to laugh at — but even harder not to.

  11. This is not the first time a US official has had trouble with hotels in Germany. Secretary of State Rex Tillerson had to stay several miles away – at a sanitarium outside of Bonn – from other leaders at the February G20 ministers’ meeting.

  12. Deb, an institution? A sanitarium? Scuse me. I gotta go cackle till I get dizzy!

Wow, Alzheimer’s is contagious. The whole White House staff caught it from cockwomble.

    That picture … LOL
Trump looks like he is surprised and befuddled at where he might be!
Angela has that look of “Oh, crap … he touched my hand!”

  16. What a bunch of amateurs. The result of not properly staffing the administration and getting rid of the old pros.

My husband told me about this and, when I asked him when the Orange One wound up staying, he said “The Days Inn”.

  17. Orange Whore is staying at a German state house. Pretty routine building as I understand.
