Holy Damn Cow
Elijah E. Cummings, a man who does not mess around, is the Chairman of the Committee on Oversight and Reform. They have released an interim report with a seal and everything, that says numerous whistleblowers have come to report that Michael Flynn and Jared Kutchner are trying to sell nuclear secrets to the Saudis to profit their own pockets. Their own damn pockets. The Saudis, you know the people who took down the World Trade Center and are murdering journalists.
There’s documents, there’s a letter to the White House, and there’s a stiff warning from other members of the committee.
I swear that Jared is a Bond villain. He’s selling nuclear secrets to the Saudi Arabia to make money for himself. And if they let Michael Flynn go free because he’s been helpful, I’m gonna be one pissed off cowgirl.
Thanks to everybody for the heads up.
just now reported:
The Trump plan: illegally hand over classified nuclear technology to Saudis/Russia, use the US military…funded by us taxpayers… to guard the dozens of construction sites and Russia will supply the components and construction. Saudis will supply the millions to line the pockets of Trump and cohorts and the billions to the struggling economy of Russia.
Just because Gen’l Flynn’s identical illegal plan to do so got nipped in the bud with his indictment & guilty plea did not mean the plan died on the vine.
1Just part of jareds middle east peace plan.
2give all parties enough tools to totally incirerate the entire region and all of its inhabitents and then seize the radioactive oil for the US
Sweetie, calm down. Reagan already gave nukes to Pakistan. If we were peacemakers this would be shocking.
3Flynn and Jughead deserve long prison sentences.
4Flat out treason if true. Jared’s work on prison reform to feather his own bed soon?
5It’s no surprise that we’re no longer surprised. We’re so saturated with reports of the Trump administration and crime family’s misdeeds that we can only say, “Yeah, there they go again, and the damn GOP is gonna try to justify it again.”
6Let’s see…who oversees that kind of stuff? Oh, yea, the secretary of energy…we know we’re in good hands now.
7They believe they can do anything without getting caught, and if they get caught they won’t be indicted, and if they’re indicted they won’t be convicted, and if they’re convicted — PARDON.
8Should we kill this deal by investigating and referring for prosecution any and all conspirators?
Or should we just wait until the Israeli Air Force levels the construction sites with THEIR nuclear weapons?
Enquiring minds want to know!
9By the way, it’s not the illegality of the whole affair that concerns me, it’s the idea of creating sources of radioactive fission byproducts in a country with known radical elements in significant numbers.
10So we have been told it’s not bomb making technology, but as Susan #1 points out, there is still a lot of green on the money tree for Trump, the Ken Doll Jared, and his Russian pals. Color me disgusted and scared.
11Linda, those reactors MAKE bomb grade material, plus a lot of highly radioactive “junk” for dirty bombs. THIS is why it’s illegal to sell or give the technology away unless approved by congress.
12CRP @12: That’s right, and it’s not clear what kind of reactor technology is being discussed. But the idea that a country with the largest proven reserves of oil needs to develop nuke power capability is laughable. Even more ridiculous: that Saudi Arabia has suddenly developed a sense of environmental responsibility.
A breeder reactor (or a reactor optimized to produce plutonium) is the big Kahuna. A crude gun-type weapon like the Hiroshima bomb is easy in terms of technology. Thanks to a Pakistani scientist back in the 80s and 90s, the plans for more sophisticated implosion type bombs are easily found. I don’t see the Saudis wanting a reactor for anything except bombs.
Yup, let’s give nukes to the same wonderful guys that brought us 9/11. Sounds like a great business plan.
So JJ: there are words for this. In Texas Franch, “sacre excrement”!
13There is no “up” side to nuclear waste. It creates costly extreme long term storage problems and its only use would be for nefarious purposes. Alternative energy? Puh-leeze. Saudi Arabia is possibly better suited than even AZ for wind and solar technology.
Chernobyl and Fukushima Daiichi say everything there is to know about “safe” nuclear power.
14OR the Saudis may be hedging their oil bets: you may have noticed there’s a worldwide swing to electric mobility…and renewables.
TCO for electrics is about a third of ICE. I drive one.
15Whew!
Aren’t you all so very glad that sleazy Clinton didn’t get elected what with her dealings in Uranium 1…
16Re: Elijah Cummings – he was the guy who had his microphone tyrannically shut off by Darrell Issa at a hearing. I would bet good money on Elijah any day!
As for the Saudis, what do they know that we don”t? Are they actually running out of oil? And nuclear power is their backup?
