President Trump revealed highly classified information to the Russian foreign minister and ambassador in a White House meeting last week, according to current and former U.S. officials, who said that Trump’s disclosures jeopardized a critical source of intelligence on the Islamic State.
I cannot decide if he hates America or is just nuts. Can you even imagine if Barack Obama did something like this?
Both. Hates America and is certifiably nuts.
1It was bad enough that he blocked all US media from the meeting but let in a photographer from Tass. And we can be sure those guys never carry bugs to plant in the Oval Office if they ever get the chance, right?
How did I sleep through the transition when the US right wing got all pally with the Russians instead of hating their guts…?

5I read somewhere that Hillary received an e-mail on her private e-mail server with the mark (C) in the 4th paragraph. And Comey called her reckless for it but declined to recommend prosecution.
So given what Hillary got away with scott free how can you possibly think Trump did anything wrong here.

7We have had ignorant and stupid Presidents previously but nothing that comes close to the level of this arrogant idiot who doesn’t know nor care to learn about anything that doesn’t directly affect himself or his family’s business. He is the center of his own warped universe and, therefore, will continue to say whatever comes to what passes for his mind, and never accept any responsibility for any damage he’s caused. And all of us should be pledging our allegiance to him.

9Just checked Fox News to see how they are handling the story. The top story is Hillary Clinton starting a new group and possible reopening of investigation into her server. Waaaaay down below, in very small type, is “Report Claims Trump revealed classified info.” Gotta look hard to see it.
10Why am I not surprised? He knows he can get away with such bad behavior because the R dominated House and Senate hasn’t a spine among them. OH, if only dueling weren’t illegal! And I don’t mean a man slashing to the rescue. I mean a woman with a sharp sword, epee, foil, what have you.

13Chloe Bear: I know this probably seems off-thread, but regarding Donnie Douchebag’s arrogance and complete disregard for actually wanting to know how or why anything happens or gets done, if you haven’t already, check out the story on Politico “How Trump Gets His Fake News”. It’s eye-opening. We’ve all heard how any current opinion of his is basically what was fed to him by the most recent person who stroked his ego. This story shows how he’s led around by his balls by anybody who can get access to him. Like the Russian ambassador and foreign minister. Without the fourth estate being present. But the Russian propaganda machine was. I’m reminded of something a former Marine Corps officer that I worked with once said. To be a good manager, you don’t have to know much about the mechanics of any given operation. You just have to be able to manage the people who do. (Just to be clear, I have no idea if this is SOP for Marine Corps Officer’s or just this guy’s opinion). Don’t get me wrong, there’s a glimmer of truth to that. But this is Donnie Douchebag’s WHOLE MINDSET. And IMHO has been his whole adult life. It served him well throughout his career and especially his campaign in the reactionary environment created over decades by TRUE fake news. But now that he’s got the ultimate responsibility, its like the dog that’s always rabidly chased the car tires, only to finally sink his teeth into one spinning at 40 mph. Only we’re the car, and we roll more than Donnie Douchebag.

18I know there is talk of impeachment for The Guy but the problem is that would put Pence in place !! The VP knows how to act presidential. Mikey is no better. It is a shame we can’t get rid of the whole lot. Leave the nut in place work on making changes in 2018 and make sure he’s in a ONE TERM president !!!
19I don’t know how there can be a question about whether this is a criminal offense, impeachable offense. We can’t let this be normalized.
20If the Republicans were smart (I know — it’s a stretch), they’d hurry up and impeach Trump to get Mike Pence installed in the WH. Then, they’d be in a position to ram through their draconian health care plan, their tax cuts for the rich and any other 18th century ideas they can come up with ahead of the 2018 elections. The Freedom Caucus in the House will be safe — they represent highly gerrymandered districts full of mouth-breathing knuckle draggers who’ll believe impeachment is the fault of the Democrats. The “moderate” Republicans will be challenged from the right, supported by enraged Trumpites. There’s a risk that the Dems could gain the majority in the House, but they have to flip at least 24 Republican-held seats. So..the Republicans COULD end up with an even more rabid majority AND a low-key highly cooperative President in the WH.
