Welcome to The World's Most Dangerous Beauty Salon, Inc.
My name is Susan DuQuesnay Bankston. I live in Richmond, Texas, in the heart of Tom DeLay's old district. It's nuttier than squirrel poop here.
I am honored and privileged to know Miss Juanita Jean Herownself, hairdresser extraordinary and political maven. Since she does not have time to fiddle with this internet stuff, I type her website for her and you can read it if you want to. If you don't, she truly does not give a big bear's butt.
A lot of what I post here has to do with local politics, but you probably have the same folks in your local government.
This ain't a blog. Blogs are way too trendy for me. This is a professional political organization.
GUILTY GUILTY GUILTY
1LOCK HIM UP!!!!!!
2Guilty 6 squared (-2) times. Has to be a record for a former president and candidate. Loved this:

Sorry the link I copied doesn’t open but this is what it said-
4“Personally want to congratulate Donald Trump for finally winning a popular vote”
I’m drinking a glass of bubbly It’s schadenfreudelicious!
5A sad but necessary day for America. May the jury be protected from the MAGAt fury. Now for a deep blue tsunami in Nov……
6So he couldn’t Lie or Buy his way out of this { YET }.
7Its not over till it’s over. But it dose fell good.
rastybob, I’m thinking along those lines too. The immediate future is, one way or another, going to be interesting.
But it’s ferdamnsure satisfying in this moment. Apparently at least one juror said they got their news from Truth Social.
The jurors are agreed to by lawyers from both sides.
The verdicts were unanimous.
The system the fascists are trying to destroy worked.
At least for now.
8I’m thinking of Murrow’s tagline.
For all of us.
Good night and good luck.
I’ve seen him referred to as Prisondent Trump.
9Syphilis will now announce himself #King of Crimes# .
10Score one (well, half of one—we’ll see how sentencing goes on July 11) for the rule of law! May the current Republican/Trumpist Party go down in flames in November! VOTE BLUE, to make sure that happens.
11drumpf should get 34 counts of perjury as he pled not guilty to all the crimes he was charged with.
Couldn’t have happened to a bigger liar and thug/criminal. No nice guy, he. Hope he rots in Rikers.
12I’m delighted they found him guilty so resoundingly!
However, as much as I would love for him to go to jail–it won’t be rikers. I’m betting on house arrest as the closest he’ll get to incarceration–at least during the appeals process.
We’ll see. May all the many people involved to get us here be safe from violent or vitriolic response.
13@Star 13:
I would also prefer jail, but what about if, since the convictions are from NY State, he gets “house arrest” but he has to stay in his butt-ugly Manhattan tower rather than being able to wander untethered through the slavering mob of sycophants at Merde-a-Barfo? And unable to receive guests, except for supervised visiting hours an hour each day.
That would be almost as good as a stint at Rikers. (Sadly, minus the orange jumpsuit, though…)
14Thank you Rule of Law and everybody! One down three to go.

15Star, house arrest in his Fifth Avenue triplex is not exactly punishment. How about a housing project in Bed-Stuy? The residents would benefit from the enhanced security and he could meet some Black people who are not as embarrassingly subservient as Tim Scott.
16It would be house arrest at Mar-a-lago….with him bloviating to the media every hour on the hour.
17I celebrated with sushi and ice cream.
18I’ve noticed that for a system that “they” want to tear down they certainly use the remedies available to them by law and the Constitution quite liberally….lol. But when it doesn’t work in the shady, underhanded, way they want it to there’s crocodile tears. Not one of them can stand up like a respectable human being. Not one.
19My husband pointed out to me the other day that we’ve heard a lot about TFG over the past 9 years and in those years he was struggling to find ONE positive thing. I couldn’t help him out. There must be ONE thing with so many, i doubt there’s as many, backing him.
