Boggie sent me this just to show how wild ass crazy 2020 has become …

… and we’ve got another month and a half left.  And something tells me that the first three weeks of January ain’t gonna be much better.

If time travelers get a preview of the eras they might visit before firing up the old flux capacitor – – December 2020 and the first two thirds of 2021 might have limited tourist trade from the future.

Just my opinion JJ, sorry. I know you might be hoping for some of that “Leaping out of the DeLorean, my hair a mess…” business.

  3. We’ve talked a lot about free speech, the alternate reality echo chamber and total discrediting of actual journalism in the minds of magas.

Two days shy of two months. Like I’ve said before. Interesting’s getting old.

Apparently his majesty has tweeted this afternoon wondering why Biden is forming a cabinet or making inauguration plans. He is either off the rails or he’s got the military ready to act on his behalf.

What does it mean to be a 2020 repugnantican politician? It means you can say any crazy lie about democrats and you’ll have an eager crowd of magats to push it out as true. Even a member of the bar, like sidney powell, can say the most ridiculous thing and it will be enshrined by magats. Now, she 1-upped Giuliani for a crazy conspiracy and he’s kicked her off the team. Imagine that, a craziness competition. Wonder when Trumpf will re-tweet her tweet as true. Maybe she’ll replace Giuliani? Wouldn’t that be just crazy.

He can steal the election if and only if his “side” is the only side willing to break the law. So far, his opposition has tried to stay within the law to defeat him, while his side has ridden roughshod over one law after another. But in the end…there comes a reckoning…for those old enough to remember A Man For All Seasons and the argument between Sir Thomas More and Will Roper…although in this case some pronouns would have to shift, for the one cutting down the laws is not the honest man pursuing the devil, as Roper conceives he would be, but a dishonest man seeking ultimate power, and instead of a pursuer of evil having to “stand in the wind that would blow then,” it’s the criminal who will face the relentless wind of an angry populace.

It’s time to start talking about charges of sedition (look it up), not only for the top clown, but for his enablers.

  8. Texas Expat in CA @7, yee haw in total agreement. When a low level low life bureaucrat such as Emily Murphy feels empowered to block a peaceful transition of democratic power, it’s time to charge these right wing nutjobs with sedition. I’d argue with some of the legal beagles who say we can’t charge them with treason because it’s not a “declared war.” Moscow Mitch and the enablers of the fu king moron have declared war on democracy.

We can hope that Vice President Harris can focus President Biden on the time when he was VP, and Moscow Mitch played hell with the rule of law. Never trust a Republicon. Evuh.

Grandma Ada @4, Donnie was off the rails in utero. Praise the deities he was hatched before ultrasound and Twitter. Hey, better “just” 4 years of his insanity than 74 on Twitter.

My military veteran vote says he may be Toddler-in-Thief, but he commands nothing, not even his own bowels. Not even in some of the worst conspiracy theory books ever written would Donnie prevail. He may ‘think’ his Incel band of wannabe white supremacy terrorists will Meal Team Six in some fantasy to save his bacon. More like they’d steal his hamberder.

Taking a hint from a commenter at the Washington Post, I read Sidney Powell’s Wikipedia entry. Fascinating.

It does not hint whether she has always been crazy or when she became crazy, but she had a successful legal career for many years.

She and my wife went to the same high school. My wife will be amused.

  11. I’ve wondered for awhile now how the trump campaign keeps finding lawyers who’ll represent them.
I think a lot of the shysters see the situation as a million in one shot. But if they don’t change their underwear until January 20th and get a voodoo doctor to rub a chicken’s foot on their briefs, this could be the laziest path to the supreme court in history. They all wanna be Alan Isaacman. Livin the Dream!
