Here’s How to Stop Abbott and DeSantis

September 16, 2022 By: El Jefe Category: 2022 Election, Abbott, Immigration, Trump, Trumpists

Abbott and DeSantis are cynically doing election year stunts to keep their base whipped up to drive them to the polls in November.  Abbott bussing families to DC and New York, and DeSantis flying them to Martha’s Vineyard violate more than a few state and federal laws against human trafficking, crossing state lines with undocumented immigrants, misappropriation of taxpayer funds, and  others.  Clearly, both governor’s believe they are above the law (like TFG) and are thumbing their noses at immigration and law enforcement agencies.

I say, fine.  Don’t go after the governors’ lawbreaking (yet), but cut off access to the services they’re using to illegally dump immigrants around the country.  Let’s use the same tactics that anti-choice politicians use…get some our own pawns to use.  Go after those who are enabling this unprecedented cruelty, the drivers and owners of the buses and the pilots and owners of the aircraft being used.  They KNOW they’re transporting undocumented immigrants (or should know), so federal authorities should go after them and indict them for trafficking.  Pilots convicted of crimes lose their licenses.  Drivers may not lose their license but will certainly lose their jobs.  Both will certainly face jail time.  If we do that, no bus company or air charter company will touch this business.  Problem solved, at least until the governors get prosecuted.

The only way to fight fire is with fire.  The hallmark of TFGist Republicans is cruelty and dickishness.  The only way to stop them is to cut off their resources and make them pay personally.

Be social and share!

  1. I’d go after the charter companies, not the employees. Plus, asset seizure laws may let the government seize the buses and airplanes used in these stunts…

The charter companies don’t care about their employees, but might be more careful about engaging in human trafficking if their assets are at risk.

  2. I frequent a website that , IMO, is Storefront lite. They get the daily talking points straight from the RNC. I assumed a roll. Sometimes it is hard to keep up that front. If the regulars there are any indication all the trafficking is a big hit among the rightwing crazies. And I suspect they make up 25% of the voters. They are suggesting all kinds of other places to send the planes and buses. No one cares about tax dollars or inhumane treatment.

U.S. Attorney for E. District of Mass. will open Human Trafficking files on Abbott, deSantis, Paxton, Patrick and a few more determined by interrogation of financial records floating around since these grifters depend upon free federal money to injure & insult visitors to U.S.

  5. I agree with all the comments here about these rotten Republicans, However, in my heart of hearts, I think it is the best of luck for these innocent immigrants to be sent to places that give a damn about them and not be stuck in cages or receive the treatment that they get from those horrible governors and their minions. And, I must say, the suggestions from the customers of TWMDBS,Inc. are brilliant. It’s an honor to be among you.

  6. Would it be inappropriate to bring those two governors all of the unwanted, and dare I say stillborn and self aborted bodies and place them on their doorstep? That wouldn’t happen though because I choose to think that we are above this sort of theatrics.

  7. The cruelty that seems inherent to the Rethug mindset is simply
horrific and those of us faced with man’s inhumanity to man must bring them down in short order.

  8. Gads!!! Yes! Heartless, totally heartless. Go one step higher to the brain. That power is about the depth of cardboard! I still picture DeSantis and Abbott shoveling coal in Hell for all eternity.

The charter company that DeSantis used is called Ultimate Air.

I try hard not to follow Tx news simply because it is depressing. The “Migrant Bus” (or plane) story snuck into my consciousness leading me to a couple of comments. I’m confused why we, as Texas taxpayers, are paying to indentify and sanction women who are leaving the state to exercise a personal decision about their pregnancies. That seems to contradict our paying, again as Texas taxpayers, to “export” immigrants to locations that the Guvnor has chosen. Maybe I’m not so confused since both of these actions seem to be the result of the Guvnor simply “deciding” to do things with no accountability to taxpayers, legislators or (apparantly) federal law. When did we, again as taxpayers, confer powers on the Guvnor to do whatever the hell he wants to? I’m really quite concerned about him expressing his real feelings about lefthanders and people with “n” in their first names. Run, Randy and Candy, run hard and fast!!!!!

  11. It would be a shame for all those buses and airplanes to have to return empty. New York should load them up with all the criminals from Rikers Island and ship ’em to Texas. (Hey, it worked for Fidel Castro!)
