Instead of watching Fox News, just go read Trump’s tweets. A friend of mine who Twitters just called and told me that President O’Drama was having a sarcastic conniption fit on Twitter this morning.
He seems to be having hourly sanity rejection episodes.

A lot of what I post here has to do with local politics, but you probably have the same folks in your local government.

Two questions: One, Can a President be indicted while in office?
Two, Would the Republican controlled House and Senate ever allow Trump to be impeached?
I’m thinking One, Only if he’s a Democrat OR threatening to become one, and
Two, Only if he threatens the Republican Gravy Train.
1Trump’s not prepping for his meeting with Kim Jong Un? Not really a problem, since, between John Bolton and military exercises, it’s most likely scuttled anyway. Trump won’t acknowledge it, but he’s been played. Kim got what he wanted–Trump recognized him as a legitimate leader–so why would he want to come together with the Orange Excuse for a President and be bullied about having nuclear weapons? He’s not going to give those up, either.
2Yep, Donald, the FBI was probably in your campaign watching you, your sons, son in law, campaign manager, lawyer do the the “Collusion dance” with Russia.
I bet they were highly entertained.

3Oh, please, yes let there have been an informant who can put them all behind bars and clear out the Russian spies and mob recruits. And it would be mighty fine if there were videos, pictures, tapes and emails to back it all up.
4It’s possible Trump might have the “bigger than Watergate” part of his Tweet right. Just not in the way he suggested.
5“Probably no doubt”? Um, probably? Or no doubt? Only in Cheeto Jesuslandia could anyone conceive it to be both.
6While the balance between the Constitution, legal precedent and politics is a delicate balance, it is neither as complicated as Rudy would lead us to believe when it suits him. Nor is that balance as simple as Rudy would like us to believe when that suits his ‘argument.’ Basically Rudy is a useful idiot for Donnie who is out there obfuscating the issues. In comparing Nixon and Clinton to Donnie, their “defense” is a combination of placing Donnie above the law and ignoring the fact that Nixon, Clinton and Trump are very different men, but like the rest of us equal under the law and not above it. Nixon did what any defendant is entitled to do and became an unindicted co-conspirator. He struck the deal best for him which was resignation and a pardon to retire in ignominy rather than retire to jail. At the moment Donnie is choosing to act in a way that is not in his best legal interest. He’s tired of the Russian investigation and the steady drip drip of Cohen NDA payments. But unlike Clinton who chose to close off the women trouble distraction by stepping forward to address the issue and testify, Donnie is attempting to close the investigation and assert a nonexistent executive privilege and claim he can’t be forced or subpoenaed to testify. Like that famous “it depends on what the definition of is is” compelled to testify is a balance between what pressure one can withstand and the option(s) of the consequences of not testifying. You can’t have it both ways, Rudy and Donnie. That would be a battle of his own choosing that has the potential to raise his personal/political crisis to the level of a national problem.
If there’s anything worse than either corruption or ignorance, it’s the confluence of the two with this maladministration. Donnie is having his lunch eaten in the trade negotiations with China. Javanka are totally derailing the best options for an Israeli solution. And to capsulize the rest of Donnie’s ‘successful’ week, having been given everything he wanted Kim Jong Un has no incentive to denuclearize. Heck of a job, Donnie!
7Okay, Donnie, you’ve played “President” long enough. You’ve lost or broken most of the pieces. Come on, give it up. You never even read the rules in the first place.
