Helpful Consumer Tips
I classify material possessions into two categories. Thing you need and things you neeeeed.
Food, clothing, and shelter are things you need.
But, pink cowboy boots are something you neeeeed.
I neeeeeed these shoes.
Thanks to Don A for the very cool link.
That’s perfection..
1The two categories are: 1) the things you USE; and, 2) the things you LOVE. Everything else get sold in a yard sale, given away, or trashed. I learned this lesson in cleaning out my mother’s house. Those flip-flops are #2.
2Yeah, I’d NEED them too!
3rofl here!
ha ha ha, JJ. I neeeed my pink cowgirl boots too!!! and my suede ones with the prickly pear cactus applique’d on the sides.!!!
4While I think they are funny I believe that putting my feet on that face would be a distinct EEEUW! moment and might even make me ill.
5I don’t think I could handle looking at that face (much less two of them) long enough to put them on, even if I was going to get to walk all over it all day long.
6Reminds me of the Nixon stamps, and how they didn’t always stick to envelopes because people were spitting on the wrong side.
One of my father’s co-workers looked at a coin in his hand and said that he wished Nixon were on that coin. “Why? You hate Nixon.” “Yeah, but I wish he were on a coin… because then the SOB would be dead.”
