Heads Up UPDATED
My email has been down since yesterday afternoon, so if you’re trying to contact me – even by Tell Juanita – it ain’t happening. You might try smoke signals, texting (if you have my phone number), a Facebook message, or writing it on the back of a twenty dollar bill and leaving it on my doorstep.
If it’s not back up by this afternoon, I’m giving you the phone number to my service provider, where you can expend your pre-holidays grumpiness.
UPDATED: the threats worked. Email is back.
I’m complaining in advance of X-Mas. This is about the 20th year in a row where I wake up on X-Mas morning only to not find Shania Twain tied up under my tree I never put up because she won’t be there anyway.
Don’t get me started on wingnuts. Thank you for listening. Have a nice life. 🙂
ps does no replies mean there are none or none are wanted?
1Stay tuned to Dick Cheney whining about how 43 knew all about it. Should be fun. Who’s making popcorn, I’ll do a pitcher of Margaritas?
2I’m complaining because my new novel hasn’t sold 500 copies. But then I really truly want folks to wait for the second edition because it has some good corrections in it. I hate waiting.
3p.s. I really really know how you feel, JJ. Except I don’t have a professional political whatever it is, or not officially. I just sneak around and pop messages at folks.
4I want to complain about calculating final grades and juggling multiple emails about why did I get that grade even though I didn’t turn in 3 big assignments. It’s only a few that do this, but it’s annoying. But at 1:00 today it will be moot. Grades must be in and the posting site will be closed. I’m done and I’m turning off my email. I wish mine were down!
5But it’s always a giddy feeling to have it all done and nothing hanging over my head for at least a few days, until it’s time to start planning the next semester. But I really love all the courses I teach in the spring. Fun, fascinating, and inFormative!
What do you teach, Jan? Woowoo, end of semester!
6I want to complain about Democrats who don’t vote and those who don’t proclaim the progress this president has made for all of us, no matter who doesn’t want to hear it.
7@Marge Wood: Fashion merchandising. A mix of business, fashion, history, socio-psych. I love it.
8Jan, I have to go mull this over for awhile. Wish we could see one of your displays and/or displays aNd projects of your students. I’m imagining all sorts of colors and fabrics and all that goes with them.
