Welcome to The World's Most Dangerous Beauty Salon, Inc.
My name is Susan DuQuesnay Bankston. I live in Richmond, Texas, in the heart of Tom DeLay's old district. It's nuttier than squirrel poop here.
I am honored and privileged to know Miss Juanita Jean Herownself, hairdresser extraordinary and political maven. Since she does not have time to fiddle with this internet stuff, I type her website for her and you can read it if you want to. If you don't, she truly does not give a big bear's butt.
A lot of what I post here has to do with local politics, but you probably have the same folks in your local government.
This ain't a blog. Blogs are way too trendy for me. This is a professional political organization.
Happy St. Patrick’s Day …. to Ben and his family.
(He gets cuter by the day.)
1After all the drudgery of shoveling this winter (near Boston), I *have* to say thank goodness for Irish music! Somehow, it’s music to pick you up and keep you going no matter how deep *it* gets.
I am pleased to say that even in a car load of teens, Irish music keeps a crowd happy…
2Happy St. Pat’s Day to everyone at the Salon!!
3JJ, that’s a beautiful red-haired boy!
My youngest son has red hair and when he was small it seemed people were always asking if his father had red hair (he did). I started answering with Erma Bombeck’s answer, “I don’t remember.”
4Sure and he’s a wee leprechaun, he is. May the luck of the Irish be always with him.
5St Patrick’s Day cuteness overload! Seeing that cutie pie Ben is better than green beer and corned beef & cabbage combined.
6Looks just like his grandma!
7The luck of the Irish to Ben, Miss Rosella and The World’s Most Dangerous Beauty Salon, Inc. Raising a sugar cookie with green frosting to ya, Ben!
8He is such a cutie! “He has the devil in him” as my Irish grandmother would say!
My son is 31 today. He was born at 10 pm after a good Irish meal of corned beef and cabbage. I thought I had heartburn, but it was a 6 lb. St. Patrick’s day present.
My dad would have been so proud to have a grandson born on this day.
Happy St. Patrick’s day to all and Happy Birthday to my son, who does not have red hair!
9My goodness gracious what a bundle of cuteness!!!
10Wow! Its damn near illegal to be all that cute! Hope his folks remember all this wonderful cuteness when he wants to borrow the car!
11Got his own beach, too. Now that is impressive. Muscle Beach,Ben provides the muscles.
12Awww. What an adorable child!
I watched the St. Pat’s parade in St. Paul, MN. It’s a pretty big thing here. The city was founded and is still overloaded with Irish RomanCatholics. The street was full of green, drunken Irish clans at noon today. Plenty of children too, presumably sober, and bagpipes skirling our ears out! What a fun time!
Late but Happy St. Paddy’s Day to all denizens of this wonderful salon.
13Too cute. I love red hair; my mom was a redhead.
