My name is Susan DuQuesnay Bankston. I live in Richmond, Texas, in the heart of Tom DeLay's old district. It's nuttier than squirrel poop here.
I am honored and privileged to know Miss Juanita Jean Herownself, hairdresser extraordinary and political maven. Since she does not have time to fiddle with this internet stuff, I type her website for her and you can read it if you want to. If you don't, she truly does not give a big bear's butt.
A lot of what I post here has to do with local politics, but you probably have the same folks in your local government.
This ain't a blog. Blogs are way too trendy for me. This is a professional political organization.
That’s great. I was thinking the other day about the big “Better a Mormon than a Muslim” sign in our town and how the neighbors across the street should put up a sign that says “I’m NOT with stupid,” with an arrow pointing that way.
1Ya gotta love a couple of signs like that. Awesome!
2That is so funny, I love it.
3Noticed something local here in N KY. Not a lot of Obama signs in my part of white bread city,but there are a lot of signs for democratic contenders for state and federal offices.
Great sign. I saw one house near mine that has both Romney and Obama signs and thought it was probably a husband and wife. After having most Obama signs stolen several weeks ago, we now have more Obama signs than Romney ones. I’ve noticed that most of the nicer, better maintained homes have Obama signs, which makes me happy. Our county, Bexar, went for Obama four years ago, as did Houston, Austin and I believe Dallas, but unfortunately the smaller cities and rural areas always go red here in Texas.
4That’s why I can’t display an Obama sign in my yard. Because my husband would then insist on a Romney sign and that would just make me nauseous.
5My neighbor has obviously been annoyed with my Obama sign, which has been out for a while now. He finally got a Romney Ryan sign, and placed it EXACTLY opposite my Obama sign, even though it’s at the edge of his property. Made me laugh.
6Did anyone else see that RR part looks like a pig’s arse?
7I don’t know why I’d see THAT on their sign… but there it is.
