Governors Are Telling Trump “NO”
John HickenLooper of Colorado, a Democrat, Andrew Cuomo of New York, also a Democrat, and Charlie Baker of Massachusetts, a Repulibcan, reversed themselves today, barring deployment of their respective National Guard troops and equipment to the border in protest of Trump’s illegal detention of thousands of asylum seekers and their children in Big Box Prisons. Adults are finally beginning to stand up on the hind legs and say NO! to Trump’s storm trooper tactics and hostage taking.
Progress.
Yeah, but I noticed that they waited until the outrage is full-blown by the majority of Americans.

I think that, no matter what, the supporters of the separation policy must be driven out of office…

5Some just keep saying” they are here illegally” like that matters ! These are children who are being mistreated. No Governor with a conscience should be involved in this at all.

I posted this on another site: During the Faith & Freedom webcast this weekend, host Leigh Valentine gave her thoughts on the Trump administration’s policy of separating immigrant children from their parents at the U.S.-Mexico border. According to her, they’re all “unclean” and “murderous” criminals.
During the segment flagged by Right Wing Watch, guest host Chris McDonald slammed CNN reporter Jim Acosta over his recent confrontation with White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders on family separations, and declared that the policy “is not America’s fault.”
“It’s [the immigrant’s] fault,” McDonald said. “If you are here illegally, guess what? Your family is at risk of being broken up because that is what happens in a law-abiding society.”
Valentine then claimed that she had a conversation with a border patrol agent who said people who cross the border illegally are the lowest of the low.
According to her, immigrants crossing the border are committing “rape after rape after rape.”
Then she made the following bizarre and reprehensible claim:
“Children below 10 years old engaging in sexual activity — all kinds of sin and disgrace and darkness; the pit of the pits.”
9I half expect the Reptillicon-in-chief to declare a national “immigration” emergency, federalizes the national guard and institutes martial law. Would Republicans be outraged then?

Gov. Ralph Northem of Virginia is a licensed pediatrician. No way would he send any sort of military from Virginia to the southern border.
Leigh Valentine sounds like she brochure long ago promise to quit dropping acid.
11As I understand it, entry at other than a legal port (which are now blocked) is a misdemeanor. Like speeding. So 10 mph over the speed limit and your kids are taken away?
12Maryland’s GOP Governor is also pulling our Guard deployment out– only one helicopter and crew, but it counts. (He’s trying to get re-elected in a heavily Dem state.)

14Minnesota’s Guard never went. Our Gov. Dayton is retiring and we must be sure to elect another Democrat to that office. We want Democrats in all our Congressional seats too.

16Kiddie Koncentration Kamps? In my country? I want this maladministration brought to a conclusion. I want the entire Trump family and all their co-conspirators and enablers in the government tried, convicted, imprisoned, and all their ill-gotten assets seized. I want them left so penniless that they have to beg their old friends for commissary money.
