How many times have the Trump family lied? Has anyone kept count?
Welcome to The World's Most Dangerous Beauty Salon, Inc.
My name is Susan DuQuesnay Bankston. I live in Richmond, Texas, in the heart of Tom DeLay's old district. It's nuttier than squirrel poop here.
I am honored and privileged to know Miss Juanita Jean Herownself, hairdresser extraordinary and political maven. Since she does not have time to fiddle with this internet stuff, I type her website for her and you can read it if you want to. If you don't, she truly does not give a big bear's butt.
A lot of what I post here has to do with local politics, but you probably have the same folks in your local government.
This ain't a blog. Blogs are way too trendy for me. This is a professional political organization.
Sarah Huckabee Sanders denies any collusion with any member of Team Trump. Sarah is Kellyanne without the sparkling personality.
1Since Junior first said that he didn’t meet with any Russians, and then said he did but only about adoptions, and then said he did but about damaging info on Clinton and didn’t get any… well, how many versions does he think we’ll swallow before he tells the truth? Clearly this apple hasn’t fallen far from the tree.
2How many times have the Trump family lied?
Sorry, numbers don’t go that high.
3On the plus side Donald Trump Jr’s new lawyer has repped alleged members of 4 out of 5 NY mafia families: Bonanno, Gambino, Genovese and Colombo.
4How many lies?
5Counting this one, I believe we’re now up to infinity +1.
Let’s see, how about a google plex number of times. Nah, too low.
6Has anyone in the family made any noise with their mouth?
7Then they lied!
How many times has the Trump family lied?
About every time stars twinkle.
8Still nothing conclusive. Still no “there,” there.
9The easiest way to tell if a member of the Trump administration or the Trump family [same thing] is lying is to check and see if the person’s mouth is moving.
That said, I’m pretty sure I saw a list of lies-by-the-numbers a few weeks ago. I THINK it was in the NY Times — though I just checked there and at the WaPo and didn’t find it either place.
10The problem, of course, is that I would have to remember the exact title of the article in order to look it up — and my memory isn’t that good. So I don’t have a link, sorry.
I’d like to suggest a PR move and fund raiser that the Democratic Party could do which would both raise huge sums of money, mock and further de-legitimatize these traitorous thieving Trumps:
— Establish a national contest, open to all (for a small entry fee), in which the participants guess the “total number of lies told by Trumpians” by some near-term date certain.
Like guessing the number of beans in a big fishbowl at the hardware store.
The time span of the lies, verifiability rules, etc., would have to be carefully defined of course.
Suitable prizes offered and awarded the the winners.
The Democrats can build public support, beat the Repukes at their own game, and raise money for the 2018 elections.
Good idea or not? Why so, or not?
11(I know, quantifying and qualifying Trumpian lies is a huge task)
Two Crows: It was the New York Times, June 23rd. “Tump’s Lies”
12two crows, was THIS what you saw? https://www.nytimes.com/interactive/2017/06/23/opinion/trumps-lies.html
13And how many times has the family been sued…..?
14Lots of work by Alfredo. I feel so secure now I know the financial background of DeVos’s support team. Uber driver….just, really!
