Give To Wendy!
Okay, dudes and dudettes, go dump some change on Wendy.
Now, some of you might say, “I don’t have much money to give.” Yes, you do. By giving only $2 or $3, you can let Wendy and Texas Democrats that you have our backs. If you have $100, give that, too! Just give so we’ll know you are there.
Texas bloggers are building a money bomb for Wendy. We’ve got a goal of $5,000, so lend us a hand.

1The goal has been raised to $7500 and they are almost there. It is time to stop thinking small! We need big numbers for Wendy!
2JJ, I gave a large amount through ActBlue, and plan to give more. So please count me in!
3I gave a small amount, and will likely give more. I decided long ago, before my inbox was inundated with pleas and asks every livelong day, that if everyone gave a little bit, what they could, to these causes, it would be helpful. Not everyone can be a big donor, but most people can be a little donor. So, take heart, next little Cub Scout at my door– you too will get just a little bit.
I do have to reserve some for my state’s embattled Dems– with so little effort, our state could go purple…from blue.
4Two of my kids live in Texas. One works for the US government, the other just moved down for a college teaching job. They’ll help with the votes. I’m retired, but you guys need all the help you can get. So I sent a couple of drops of Lake Michigan water to add to your bucket.

15I read that Abbott already has $25 million in his ‘war chest’. But we can do this thing! I like JJ’s prediction. Turn Texas blue and we’ll never see another Rethug president in our lifetimes (and our grandchildren’s, too, I hope).
