Gaetz and Trump: It all Makes Sense Now

April 03, 2021 By: Jet Harris Category: Sumbitches, Trump, Trumpists

It’s all so clear, now, ain’t it?

Matt Gaetz has been the loyalist of the Trump loyalists. No matter how low Trump went, Gaetz stood there with a grin on his face and a shovel in his hand to help dig a deeper hole. It all makes sense now that we know the latest accusations about Gaetz and his inability to keep it in his pants.

Here is what they have in common:

Daddy’s money

Don Gaetz made his fortune by convincing the government to allow Medicare and Medicaid to cover hospice services – that his non-profit provided. Once the government started covering these hospice services, he switched the company to for-profit and built the largest hospice company in the country. He made millions using government health care. He then used those millions to buy his son a seat in Congress, which the son is now using to rail against government-run health care. Now he’s using those millions on getting his son a lawyer.

We all know, of course, how Donald Trump’s daddy made his money. Real estate, including government-subsidized housing, like this building in Brooklyn that still nets the Trumps $5 million a year.

Being a Giant Windbag on Twitter

The night before Michael Cohen testified before Congress, Gaetz sent this tweet, meant to intimidate a federal witness:

“Hey @MichaelCohen212 – Do your wife & father-in-law know about your girlfriends? Maybe tonight would be a good time for that chat. I wonder if she’ll remain faithful when you’re in prison. She’s about to learn a lot…,”

There are about a million other examples of Gaetz being a horses ass on Twitter for you to read if you’re a masochist, and I certainly don’t need to prove that Trump is a giant windbag.

Multiple Accusations of Sexual Impropriety

This Wikipedia page lists 26 credible accusations against Trump, most of which you’re already aware, no doubt.

The best proof on this Earth of a devil is that Donald Trump gets away with literally everything he does with no repercussions ever, and the only way that this is possible is that he sold his soul to El Diablo.

Of course, it is this week that the Gaetzgate scandal began to unfold. In my estimation, he just finally pissed off the wrong person. Mr. or Mrs. pissed off leaked the investigation that had been secret from the media for half a year. For six months, the Justice Department has been investigating whether Gaetz flew a 17-year-old child across state lines and paid her for statutory rape. Within hours of the story breaking, GOP Congressmen and women lined up to give the media anonymous accounts of Gaetz sharing naked photos of women on the floor of the U. S. House of Representatives.

He is accused of having a sex contest when he was in the Florida state legislature involving . . . Harry Potter. Lawmakers got points for sleeping with married women, sorority girls, and virgins. The ultimate prize of this contest was one specific woman who they nicknamed “The Snitch” – as in Quiddich, whoever got her to sleep with them won the game outright.
Alright, alright, the Daily Mail reported the last bit there but it’s too damn juicy not to talk about at the beauty salon.

They each have a Creepy Predator Wingmen

Trump’s long documented and often photographed friendship with Jeffrey Epstein allowed him free and full access to many of these women who later accused him of sexual assault. Epstein died in prison after being indicted for running a sex-trafficking ring wherein he abused dozens of underage girls, flying them on his private plane to his private island where they could be abused without the fear of authorities coming to the aid of the children.

Gaetz’s Epstein is named Joel Greenberg. Joel Greenberg is under indictment for a whole host of unbelievably nasty crimes, from posing as a student and writing a letter that he hoped would disgrace his political rival, to using Florida state government offices to print Fake IDs for the underage girls he was sleeping with so he could fly them across state lines. That sounds familiar.

There sure is an awful lot of smoke around these folks.

Alright, jury, I’ve presented my case. Gaetz is Trump’s biggest defender because they’re the same guy. Given every advantage in life, able to purchase anything they’d ever want from women to political office, they openly flaunt their crimes and laugh at the dummies around them that play by the rules and don’t have nearly as many followers on social media as they do. They’re both full of horse shit. We can only hope that the Feds take down Gaetz before he becomes the next President Trump.

Be social and share!

When Epstein was arrested, it was rumored he had videos of everything that went on in that townhouse in NYC. The videos never showed up and he was, IMO, murdered. Gaetz has flagrantly shown pictures etc. and been a general d**k in Congress. Since his majesty is no longer in office, it will be interesting to see a full investigation of Gaetz and others who may have been in his play group.

  2. This is the first time I noted Jet Harris in the byline here. Maybe I just missed it before but is there an intro?

    Regardless, good blogging there.

And any word about how JJ is doing? If you see her tell her that she’s the gal from Texas that I admire most since Molly Ivins.

Goodness, I forgot to introduce myself. I’ll put a bio up this weekend. I’m from a beauty salon up in North Texas – I’m keeping an eye on the place with Jefe and Nick until Juanita Jean herownself makes it back. I can’t speak for JJ, but she’s a tough old broad and she’ll have a lot to say sooner or later. Please stick around until then. Thanks for the kind words.

Welcome, Jet. Always good to hear a new voice.

As for Gaetz and Trump, I think they’re toast, though it may take a while. Justice bats last.

I just saw the J and thought it was El Jefe. Welcome Jet!

One added commonality — neither Trump or Gaetz seem much interested in the substance of policy issues. They are willing to have opinions about them, certainly willing to talk about them if there is a microphone or camera near, but actual positions and specific mechanisms are left to others.

Examples from Trump: my favorite continues to be from his campaign, when he took 5 positions against abortion within 2 days. When in office, one of his first “policies” was excluding Moslems. An Executive Order that went through multiple explanations and 3 different drafts before the courts allowed implementation of the policy. Or one of his last: after desultory “negotiations” with Pelosi through the summer, Trump came to have a sudden interest in getting COVID relief checks for people. He didn’t really have a clear amount for the checks or much commitment to who ought to get them.

An example from one of Gaetz’s introduced bills: H. R. 861. The entire text of the bill is:
“The Environmental Protection Agency shall terminate on December 31,
    2018.”
[I’m pretty sure some Republican “replace” was in SOMEBODY’S mind.]

Yes, welcome Jet. Well written narrative about two of the sleaziest characters in national politics. And that is saying a lot because there are many, many sleazy characters in that “business”.
I would add that what makes these 2 so similar is that they still act like spoiled adolescents. Neither has ever grown up and neither have the least empathy for anyone other than themselves.
I am waiting for 2 other sleazy politicians to come out against gaetz- gym jordan and mt greene. I also wonder how gaetz’s fiancé is on all this? Maybe Michael Cohen should send matt a message about that.

The best known ‘secret’ of the FL legislation and now Congress. Not even a good who knew what when mystery, since apparently everyone knew but the voting public. But the timing? Did the ***king moron throw Gaetz under the bus to create a distraction from his own current legal woes or is there another Donnie scandal due to erupt and misery loves company? What next? Maybe a turf war between the Frist, Gaetz and pRick Scott empires as to who runs the sleaziest medical scam.

john in denver: What? Trump not interested in substance? Apparently you don’t remember Trump’s big beautiful health care plan, much better than Obamacare . . .

I realize it’s Easter weekend and I should have nothing but love and kindness, not to mention forgiveness, in my heart for everyone. That certainly holds true for all the people who made the vaccine possible and those who put it in my arm (twice!), those who drove me home, and those who man the grocery stores and pharmacies. I also feel deep gratitude to the National Guardsmen still guarding the Capitol (and who will likely remain longer than planned after yesterday).

There is still room in there for the Schadenfreude to run gleefully and freely over Gaetz and his enablers. I’m enjoying the Hell outta this; so sue me.

  11. Rich in Fla says:

Hi Jet. Welcome and thanks for helping out.

With intros out of the way, I would like to say that you have incorporated way too many facts in this post.

I like just enough real info to make it irresponsible not to speculate, especially with this douche nozzle.

Did anyone see Gaetz’ interview with F*cker Carlson?
He dragged F*cker’s sex crime accusation from years ago. into the conversation.

The horror on his face would make a great screen saver.

    11
  12. Harry Eagar says:

So, who outed Gaetz? Unless it was somebody on the investigative/prosecution team behaving with extreme recklessness and unprofessionalism, it was somebody with access to the Applepay records.

    Tim Cook?

    Seriously, who had those?

    12
  13. Harry,

My best guess as to Mr. or Mrs. Pissed Off’s identity is one Joel Greenberg, or other GOP sleeze over his head with the FBI and anxious to avoid detection.

  15. RepubAnon says:

    Hi Jet – welcome!

My guess as to the person “releasing the kraken” on Matt Gaetz is a friend of one of the people allegedly seeking to scam some money out of Matt’s Dad. Wouldn’t want to call and tip them off, as the Feds might be listening – providing info to the news media would warn off the scammers.

Or, it could be one of the women involved heard them bragging, and got angry enough to drop the dime on these sleezoids.

    15
  16. First, Jet, thanks for referring to the fact that Epstein died in prison and not that he committed suicide in prison, which is highly questionable.

Second, and I probably posted this before but I don’t want to go back searching comments just in case I didn’t. Tucker’s father-in-law is a defrocked Episcopalian priest and “retired” head of a high school who was investigated a few years back for pulling a “Gym” Jordan over molestation charges in the school…and maybe worse. Neither his defrocking nor his retirement were his choice. So, it runs in both families. I’m sure Tucker didn’t want that can of worms reopened.

  17. George E. Andrews, if you would like to look him up.

  18. Harry Eagar says:

Jet @ 13 Not Greenberg, I think, at least if he’s got a decent lawyer. If you are trying to do a deal, you should not cause trouble for the prosecutors. Much as we are all enjoying this spectacle, for the investigators/prosecutors, it’s a load of trouble.

  19. john in denver says:

Trump has one “unique” element — at least, I’ve not seen Gaetz expressing himself on religious topics.

    The former *resident wrote today:

“Happy Easter to ALL, including the Radical Left CRAZIES who rigged our Presidential Election, and want to destroy our Country!”

Before that message, last Friday Trump wrote:

“Why is it that every time the 2020 ELECTION FRAUD is discussed, the Fake News Media consistently states that such charges are baseless, unfounded, unwarranted, etc.?” the statement read. “Sadly, there was massive fraud in the 2020 Presidential Election, and many very angry people understand that.”

“With each passing day, and unfortunately for the Radical Left CRAZIES, more and more facts are coming out,” he added. “Other than that, Happy Easter!”
