If you’re wondering how a 16 year old boy is so damn unlucky with guns, you ain’t the only one.
An Oklahoma 16-year-old boy is in serious condition after he accidentally shot himself in the leg for the second time over the last three months, according to police.
Maybe a padlock on the gun rack would help?

Normally I would snark about just letting Darwin’s laws take their course but sometimes these yahoos hurt someone who doesn’t deserve it.
Sigh. He will end up siring four more like him in a double-wide while working as the courtesy shuttle driver at the Chevy dealership. And of course he will have all sorts of great gun stories to tell his passengers.

5Maybe responsible parents would help. This kid shouldn’t even be allowed to hold a pair of scissors even if he isn’t running.
6Makes me think drugs or alcohol was involved. Hard to believe anybody is that stoopid.

8Can we hope that “leg” is a euphemism and that he has now blown off both of them, rendering himself unable to breed?
9OK. Let’s go back to one of my psych classes in grad school. This has the look and feel of a “try out” that some folks use when they are ginning up to really cut their wrists and die. This time he actually hit an artery and damn near died. I hope somebody, such as a hospital chaplain or a social worker, is smart enough to see the whole situation and maybe give this story a happier ending.

It sounds like this kid has some serious problems and his parents leave the guns around so they won’t have to do anything about them.

13This kid should be removed from his home until some investigation is done. His parents are at best negligent and possibly abusive.
