Fun With Guns: Man’s Best Friend Oops Edition
We are in Michigan.
Police say a 25-year-old man who accidentally shot himself in the hand ended up killing a dog at a home in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula.
The Daily News and WLUC-TV report officers responded about 8:30 p.m. Saturday to a 911 call about the shooting in Iron Mountain.
The man was taken to a hospital for treatment of injuries that were described as non-life-threatening. Police say the dog was killed by the bullet that went through the man’s hand.
I hope there is such a thing as dog ghosts and this dog is one of them.
….and just think, in PA you can eat the dog he killed, because republicans refuse to pass a bill saying you can’t eat cats and dogs. Yup.
1Let’s hope this ammosexual draws a judge who believes in creative sentencing. 500 hours community service in an animal rescue shelter sounds fair, if the love of his life packs him a daily lunch of a pork chop bone for every pocket.
2Here in PA, I knew it was perfectly okay to eat roadkill (usu. deer), but I didn’t know that included cats and dogs. Then again, this is a Republican-controlled state with a dead economy, so maybe that’s why dog or cat is what’s for dinner.
3May the ghost of this poor dog come back to pee in this guy’s shoes!!!
4PA you Gotta be kidding me. There’s all sorts of hygienic reasons for NOT eating road kill. The main one being after the wheel rolls over the animal, what was in the digestive system below the animal’s stomach is now marinating the otherwise edible parts of the deer, squirrel, etc etc. Human beans should not be eating’ any of that.

6sad.
7Thanks for the link Cheryl. Hard to believe that the NRA runs our country. I simply do not remember ever voting for an NRA person! The stupid, it hurts – but the poor pigeons hurt worse because of the NRA stupidity.
8I hope the dog did not suffer.
9I saw this PA cat & dog thing on the TV a few nights ago!! Well, it’s just gross … of course, a lot of us have made certain references to some Oriental restaurants of using the family pet to fill out a certain dish or 2 or 3!! But it was a joke, folks … we didn’t really mean it!!
Guess you can’t joke around like that in PA.
10Cabin fever season is just starting in the Upper Peninsula. I think the shooter was both a good guy with a gun & a bad guy with a gun. The bad guy (holding the pistol) was irritated with his dog over some minor disagreement, while the good guy (probably his left hand) reached out to protect the dog by attempting to block the shot.
I’d like to see his mug shot to see if there is a tiny devil and mini angel on his shoulders, which would prove my theory.
11Another innocent bystander. Nothing to see here, folks — happens all the time. How very sad!
12OK NRA, tell me again why everyone should have a gun!
13That explains why Stroudsburg boasts the RoadKill Cafe.
14The food is actually pretty decent, if not necessarily genuine road kill (I think).
Innocent pets are gift to mankind, providing unconditional love and companionship to people, some of whom do not deserve it.
15This guy is one of those.
Should of happened the other way around. Need the dog but not that guy
16If every there was a guy who deserves to find ghost turds in his shoes till the day he dies . . .
